Video Games I Have Spent the Most Time Playing

I saw this idea from Angelika Oles and thought it would be a fun idea. Most of the games featured on this list are my all-time favorite games. By no means is this every game I've ever played or the true total amount. As I've switched computers several times over the years, and the Nintendo Switch gives a rough estimate with only 20 games displayed. One of the games on this list wasn't displayed but I based the time on how long the game takes on average. If I had the stats for how much time I played The Sims 2 and 3 those would be on here too, but sadly I don't know the answer to that as I played on my dad's laptop and a computer I left behind years ago. Plus, those were played on physical disks so I don't have those stats. I also grouped games of a series together as I feel that gives a more accurate portrayal of the time I spent in those worlds.…
View PostDisney’s Answer to Nintendo Animal Crossing: Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley was launched, or rather opened in Early Access, in August 2022. This game is still being developed, and it will eventually be free to play. It's a life simulation and adventure game that's very similar to Nintendo's Animal Crossing. So, I thought I'd look at the differences and similarities between the two games.…
View PostInside Out Inspired Body Paint

Recently, I did a body paint inspired by Inside Out. I couldn't decide which character I wanted to do, so I did them all along with circle bubbles for memories. This was done during a live stream over on Twitch. I figured I would do a lookbook of this since I love how it turned out and it's been a hot minute since I did one of these types of posts. I might do more of them in the future for each of my looks since I do these typically every Saturday.…
View PostI Turned Myself into the Queen of Hearts

I let my Discord decided what makeup look I would do, and Queen of Hearts ended up winning. So, I decided to pull inspiration from a few different places for this look. Those being: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and the playing card for the Queen of Hearts. I think you'll find subtle nods to each version in the look. From the color palette to the lips to the roses painted red to the drawn appearance of the card. I really like how the look turned out... and of course, it gave me an excuse to put on a crown and my favorite blood-red wig.…
View PostThe Pop Culture Download #21: Pokemon Sword, Little Women, and Lady & the Tramp

This last week has been packed with various things, as I finally stopped playing old games that I've previously beat and watched two movies. I know a shock to me too. I was getting in a runt there for a little bit and not exploring anything new.…
View PostThe Pop Culture Download #20: The Mandalorian

For this week's Pop Culture Download we're just going to be focused on The Mandalorian as its the only new thing I've watched since the rest has consisted of watching the classic Disney movies on Disney+. Plus, I watched it twice so it gets it's own dedicated post.…
View PostPantone Color of the Year (2020): Classic Blue Inspired Eyeshadow Look

Pantone has announced the Color of the Year 2020, it's Classic Blue (19-4052) and I thought it would be fun to do this again. Last year, I did it when the Color of the Year (2019) was Living Coral. So I thought I would do something similar again, though this time instead of a creative makeup look based off the color, I'm just going to use it as the base for my regular eyeshadow look.…
View PostAre You the One I’ve Been Looking for? Overview of the ColourPop x Disney Frozen II Anna and Elsa Shadow Palettes

ColourPop and Disney collaborated yet again for a Frozen II Collection, which included two 9-pan palettes named after each of the sisters: Anna and Elsa. Each palette costs $15, includes a mirror and comes in a cardboard packaging. I love Disney, and recently saw Frozen II (see The Pop Culture Download #18 for my thoughts on the movie). I've been listening to several of the songs on repeat since seeing the movie. So, even though I swore I wasn't going to buy anymore palettes... I couldn't stop myself. I had to get these.…
View PostThe Pop Culture Download #18: Christmas in the Smokies & Frozen II

With the Thanksgiving holiday, I ended up spending time with my family and one of the things we do for traditions is watch movies. We ended up watching two different ones. The first being Christmas in the Smokies on Netflix and the second being Frozen II. I'm not going to share the plot or discuss either in great detail in case you haven't seen them yet and want to.…
View PostI Can’t Help It I LOVE Disney | Overview of the ColourPop x Disney Midnight Masquerade Collection

When it comes to Disney, I can't help myself I have to have it. I have seen almost every Disney movie at least five times. And can break out into any song at the sheer mention of a line. So, when ColourPop announced the Midnight Masquerade collection with Disney (their third collaboration) I wanted it in the worst way. My sister ended up surprising me by getting me the entire collection not just part of it as my Christmas present. Yes, several months early but you know what I'm in love!…
