Dragon Age: Which DLCs are Worth it? Ranking the Packs

Dragon Age: Which DLCs are Worth it? Ranking the Packs

Dragon Age series is my favorite game of all time. And yes I’m wrapping all three games into one and calling them my favorite. Now each of the games have their own DLC (downloadable content) that are available for purchase, from extra story lines to items such as mounts, weapons, and armors. And I have gotten the chance to play with the vast majority of them. So I’m going to go to rank the ones that add additional stories to the game after the main one is over with my reasoning for each.

Dragon Age Origins: To Help or Not to Help The Architect

Dragon Age Origins: To Help or Not to Help The Architect

One of the most interesting creatures or characters that you come across during Dragon Age: Awakening, which is a DLC for Dragon Age: Origin is the Architect. This is a unique darkspawn emissary as he has developed a will of his own and doesn’t respond to the call of the Old Gods. He also has the ability to talk unlike all other darkspawn. And during the course of the DLC, you have the option to help or reject/defeat the Architect. But what exactly does he want? And what does that mean for the games?

Dragon Age Origins: Golems vs Dwarves

Dragon Age Origins: Golems vs Dwarves

Final article or post rather on this comparing the species in Dragon Age Origins. If you missed it, I’ve already done this for Templars vs Mages and Dalish Elves vs Werewolves. So today I wanted to focus on the two duo: Dwarves vs Golems. Similar to Dalish Elves vs Werewolves, this conflict only appears in the one game. Whereas, Templars vs Mages spans across all the games. Though golems do make appearances in the other games, you just don’t see the two forces pited against each other like in Dragon Age Origins.

Dragon Age Origins: Werewolves vs Dalish Elves

Dragon Age Origins: Werewolves vs Dalish Elves

I’ve done another versus before in Dragon Age for templars versus mages. But I thought I would take it back to the original game, and do a few different versuses. As there are a few races faced against each other in this game other than just the common two. So for this next installment, I thought I would focus on the werewolves versus Dalish elves. As I found this to be such an interesting story line though it was very brief, and only really lasted the one game. Though there is mention of it in Dragon Age 2 when you pass by a group outside of Kirkwall.

Dragon Age Origins: Most to Least Favorite Companions

Dragon Age Origins: Most to Least Favorite Companions

Dragon Age: Origins is one of my favorite games of all time. I have completed the game around six to eight times, and will probably replay it many more times. I’ve already done a post an my most to least favorite companions in Dragon Age II and Dragon Age: Inquisition, but I haven’t done one for Dragon Age: Origins. I have played the DLCs so unlike the other posts, I will be including them in this post as I do know their characters. Though they aren’t as high on the list as I haven’t played the DLCs as much so their characters don’t stand out to me as much.
