A Night at the Library: MN Zoo Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular 2022

A few years ago I went to my first ever MN Zoo Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, then COVID happened so we didn't end up going the two years following that. Well, this year it's back or rather we went back to it. The theme for this year was: Night at the Libary. So, everything was themed around various types of books you might find. There are more than 5,000 glowing carved pumpkins at this event. So, there's no way to photograph all of them. But I did photograph a bunch of them. So, I thought I would do a photo gallery type thing from the event since I had an absolute blast at it.…
View PostYou’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch (Body Paint)

For the first Saturday (Caturday) of December, we decided to take on Classic Christmas characters. I let my Discord decide between a few iconic characters who I could become. They ended up deciding I would turn into the Grinch. And I seriously love how this turned out.…
View PostThe Hallotober Tag

I was tagged by the incredible Jenna over at J.K. I'm Exploring to do a fun Halloween tag and I couldn’t pass it up. Check out her blog if you don’t already follow because she puts out some amazing content. This tag was created by Jordanne from The Life of A Glasgow Girl (the header image from hers).…
View PostDo You Wanna Build a Snowman? | Snowman Inspired Makeup Look

Continuing on with my seasonal creative makeup looks, I did this snowman look inspired by @vocallyshook. To be honest I have not built a snowman in many years... I think the last one I made was in college and then for a class assignment we had to do something against social norms, which promptly lead to me making at least part of the snowman in my bikini. It was extremely cold, and I regretted it immediately. But hey it led to an interesting memory and photo (not that I'm showing it on here).…
View PostYou’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch, Ornament Look Inspired by Peachcait

One of my favorite Christmas movies of all time is How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey. I could honestly quote that movie all season long and even after that. So, when I saw Peachcait over on Instagram created a look inspired by the movie in an ornament, I knew I had to do my own version of it. While hers is half of her face, I kept mine as added detail to the look. Mainly as I can't wear colored contacts and I wanted to do something I little bit different. Check out her original version of the look as it is incredible!…
View PostMaking An Advent Calendar For My Dog, Pixie Bug

'Tis the season for Advent Calendars. I didn't any for myself this year, but after seeing videos from Nicol Concilio and Jenna Marbles where they made ones for their dogs, I decided make one as well. Only mine also includes a "treat" for myself, that being starburst that I still had from Halloween. I had a lot of fun making it.…

View PostLush World’s Smallest Disco Bath Bomb Review

It's been a long time since I've done a post on Lush's bath bombs. Mainly as I haven't had them in over a year and second I haven't tried anything new. But the other month I went to Lush at Mall of America, and I'm not 100% sure if it's new for this holiday season but I saw the bath bomb called World's Smallest Disco.…
View PostThe Time I Ruined Christmas

Let's just say I haven't always been the greatest when it comes to presents. I used to get way too curious about what I got and would try to figure it out beforehand. I don't do that anymore but I did it a lot as a kid. And this one isn't about a present I ruined for myself, but rather for my neighbors. But it all honestly, I had no idea it was a present and it's not like it was hidden or anything. But I thought since it's Christmas time I would share the story.…
View PostAnastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette Review & Swatches

Last holiday season Anastasia Beverly Hills released the Prism palette. Which includes a variety of neutrals, prismatic metallics, and bold pops of color. The packaging on this palette is a little more luxe compared to the other palettes (maybe not Sultry which is pure glitter). But still it's not minimalist instead it's a velvet black with a geometric prism on the cover. So it's a little more interesting than just the minimal palette name.…
