Everything I Read in 2022

Everything I Read in 2022

It's been an entire year. I hope everyone had a good year. I thought I would wrap up the year by looking back at every single book I read in 2022. We'll see if 2023 is similar in terms of how many books I read.…

Looking Back at September 2022

Looking Back at September 2022

How is the month over already? I swear this year is flying by... and dragging at the same time. It was a combination of training, customer support, twitch streaming, reading an armful of books, and bodypainting. So, you know, the usual.…

My Thoughts on Kingdom of the Feared (Kingdom of the Wicked, Book 3) by Kerri Maniscalco

My Thoughts on Kingdom of the Feared (Kingdom of the Wicked, Book 3) by Kerri Maniscalco

Kingdom of the Feared is the final installment of the Kingdom of the Wicked trilogy by Kerri Maniscalco. I was looking forward to this book as we were promised to learn all the secrets that had been laid out in the previous two books. As the book opens immediately at the close of the second installment in the trilogy. So, if you don't want spoilers for the previous books in this series, look away as I'm going to be getting into it during my review of this book.…

Everything I Read in 2021

It's been an entire year. I hope everyone had a good year. I thought I would wrap up the year by looking back at every single book I read in 2021. Honestly, I'm surprised by how many books I read. Not only that but I started reading new genres during the course of this year, though it still is related to fantasy/sci-fi (for the most part). We'll see if 2022 is similar in terms of how many books I read. I have a lot on my reading list still.…

Reflecting on October and Goals for November 2021

Reflecting on October and Goals for November 2021

October and my favorite holiday are over. A lot happened in October for me. A good portion of that was stressful. From my dad being put into assisted living and his power of attorney trying to guilt-trip my sister and me to talk to him for the first time in eight years (not going to happen), to listening to our old neighbors complain about squatters that moved into his foreclosed home, to almost losing my job... it's been a bit much. Not that there weren't other elements that I loved from this past month. I've had a blast being creative, read some great books, and enjoyed playing new games that I saw pieces of before. So, I thought I would reflect on the elements I loved from the last month as well as go over my goals from last month as well as the ones I have for this month.…

My Thoughts on Kingdom of the Cursed (Kingdom of the Wicked, Book 2) by Kerri Maniscalco

My Thoughts on Kingdom of the Cursed (Kingdom of the Wicked, Book 2) by Kerri Maniscalco

shing Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco, I wanted to continue on with the series right away. The second book is called Kingdom of the Cursed. Because I had to know what was going to happen once Emilia entered hell. Was Wrath going to let her go to Pride? Or is their engagement still a thing since the tattoo has not vanished. If anything, it had grown since Emilia attempted to call it off. And I can't see Emilia ending up with Pride, her sin that she rapidly falls back on is aligned with wrath. The two are very similar to each other. So, I was curious to see what would happen between these two in the next installment.…

My Thoughts on Kingdom of the Wicked (Kingdom of the Wicked, Book 1) by Kerri Maniscalco

My Thoughts on Kingdom of the Wicked (Kingdom of the Wicked, Book 1) by Kerri Maniscalco

n I was in high school, I used to volunteer at a library shelving books that had been returned. The mass majority of the ones always ended up being James Patterson. Every section you went into there were massive sections for James Patterson. Children's, Teens, Fiction, Non-Fiction... you name it, James Patterson would have rows upon rows of books. So, when I saw this Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco was a James Patterson Presents Novel, I was curious. Not only that, but it kept coming up in my recommendations alongside Stalking Jack the Ripper by the same author. One day I'll get to that book series, but I figured I would go to Kingdom of the Wicked first since the second book was just released and I was trying to hold off until the whole series was complete. Now, I don't know if it ends after the second book but that was the book I was waiting to come out before starting this series.…

I Have No Idea Where to Start My Book TBR

I Have No Idea Where to Start My Book TBR

In a recent post, I mentioned how I did a massive book haul. That's a bit of an understatement. So, I decided to pull every book off my shelf that I want to read. And honestly, I have no idea where I even want to start with tackling this pile. Granted, I already started it last month and have posted reviews on every book that I read. This is not even everything if I'm being 100% honest. There are some books I got last year that should be in here as well, but considering how many books this already is I didn't go back to grab those. Maybe I'll end up reading those before some of these, but I thought this would be a fun post to do while I debate on what to read next. Hell, you guys might help me pick which one to start with.…
