The Vicious Lost Boys by Nikki St. Crowe is a dark reimaging of Peter Pan and Wendy. This series has four books in total in the main series, though there is going to be a spin-off book in the future. This review is going to focus solely on the main series. These books are fairly short reads, so you can easily read each of them in one sitting. They do have an enemy-to-lover and reverse harem vibe to them, as well as darker undertones. If those aren't your vibe, then this series isn't for you. …

The year is officially halfway over, so I thought it was time to look back at all the books I've read so far since the start of 2022. Several of these books I read multiple times during the course of the year, so the actual number of books is higher if you take that into consideration, but I didn't count how many times I re-read books, and some of them I only re-read certain sections, like returning to the romance only portion of some books and skipping the plot. Finally! I'm back to working full-time after three months of being out of a job. I was seriously feeling the effects of that. My mind was shattered almost constantly (like I struggled to think or concentrate on one thing at a time), and I was struggling mentally with how to cope. The one thing I had to look forward to in the last month was that I was starting a new job. What I find a little funny, the last two jobs I interviewed for and started with both had start dates very close to my birthday. I'm going to be in what they call "training" for the next six months, but I'm excited about this next chapter.…
