It’s been a while since I’ve done a shampoo or conditioner review or try-out on here. Honestly I had just given up on my hair after using color remover. My hair was lifeless and frizzy. I could barely stand it and had been living in wigs for the blog/YouTube, and had my hair in buns every day. As while the shampoo and conditioner made my hair feel soft again, it did almost nothing else for my hair. So the idea of a personalized shampoo and conditioner that does what you need sounds amazing to me. Which is why I was extremely excited when Formulate reached out to me to try their products. As I had been looking at their site a few weeks prior to receiving their email. Honestly, I was going to try out their shampoo and conditioner system when I ran out of what I was currently using.
For the past few months, I’ve switched shampoo and conditioner from Function of Beauty to Kristin Ess. I loved their Strand Strengthening Reconstructive Moisture Mask, which had brought my hair back from the dead. So I thought I would give their shampoo and conditioner a chance. They do have several different ones but I decided to go with The One Signature Shampoo and Extra Gentle Scalp Conditioner. Both contain Zip-Up Technology from Kristin Ess that helps restore split ends, smooths the appearance of damaged cuticles, and helps protect the hair from environmental stressors and color fade. Both products were $10 at Target and contain 10 fl oz or 296 mL of product.
little while ago I got an email from the co-founder of Nature Queen asking if I wanted to try out their shampoo and conditioner for free in exchange for a review. As much as I had been loving my current hair care system, my hair has recently decided to just out right hate it. Most likely from all the hair dye, stress, or poor diet I’ve been having recently. So I was intrigued to give it a go to see if maybe that would help bring new life to my hair.
