Looking Back on May 2022

Finally! I'm back to working full-time after three months of being out of a job. I was seriously feeling the effects of that. My mind was shattered almost constantly (like I struggled to think or concentrate on one thing at a time), and I was struggling mentally with how to cope. The one thing I had to look forward to in the last month was that I was starting a new job. What I find a little funny, the last two jobs I interviewed for and started with both had start dates very close to my birthday. I'm going to be in what they call "training" for the next six months, but I'm excited about this next chapter.…
View PostWhich is Worse? Animal Crossing’s Tom Nook or Stardew Valley’s Mayor Lewis

I don't entirely know why I decided to write about this today. It was a thought that came into my head, while I was cleaning up my island in Animal Crossing. Which Mayor or Government Official in a video game is worse between Tom Nook and Mayor Lewis? One of them gets a very bad reputation while the other is hit or miss on people's opinions. So, I thought I would compare the two and then come up with a conclusion to this question.…
View PostPokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl: Guide for Defeating the Gym Leaders & Elite Four

I recently got Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, so I thought I would do a little guide on the gyms that you have to go through during the course of the game. There is no difference between the games and the gym leaders. They are similar to the classic Diamond and Pearl games, so you go through the gyms to face the trainers before reaching the leader. There is no challenge or mission, or special feature of the gym like there was in Pokemon Sword/Shield.…
View PostSubnautica Below Zero: Where are the Trivalve?

In Subnautica: Below Zero you get a companion creature similar to the Cuddlefish in the original Subnautica game. It's called the Trivalve, and there are two different color patterns for your little friend: blue and gold. The trivalve does various play actions after it is hatched and released into the ocean. These include: tickling its nose, stroking its head, giving it with a rock, or feeding it treats. There are six total eggs in the world, four of which are blue and two are gold. Since I did a post similar to this for Subnautica with the Cuddlefish, I thought I'd make one for the Trivalve.…
View PostSubnautica Below Zero: Assembling Al-An (Architect) a new Vessel

One of the main plot points in Subnautica: Below Zero is helping an Architect named Al-An. First by finding the member of the Architects, who is only the consciousness of the being uploaded to a data hub. The power of that hub started to fail and Alterra did not want to assist. Robin however becomes the new storage medium as Al-An uploads themselves into her head when she tries to help. This resists in the two talking and coming to the agreement that Robin will help Al-An make a new vessel. Which is what I'm going to be sharing details on where to find and build in this post.…
View PostStardew Valley: Crops That Bring in the Most Money

I have been playing A LOT of Stardew Valley recently. Not only playing it but watching other people stream the game. And at this point in my games, I'm just working on turning profits. The community center is complete in both of my game saves. I have a farm over on Ginger Island (still working through unlocking everything there) and in one of my saves I have Skull Cavern 100 Level challenge complete. So... profit! Profit means crops, but there are a lot of crop options in the game both at Pierre's and the Desert Oasis. Not only that but they change by the season. These are your best options when it comes to crops to make the most money.…
View PostHogwarts Mystery: Where to Find Energy Around the Castle

One of my favorite mobile games that has come out is Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery, but like most mobile games you are limited to what you can do by time and energy. It's my least favorite part of any mobile game but Hogwarts Mystery has selected areas around the castle where you can regain some energy to keep going. These spawn or refill every six hours. So you can't go to them all of the time to regain energy, but it's at least there every six hours to gain you some more energy. …
View PostLegend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Divine Beast Vah Naboris

I've recently been live-streaming over on Twitch, and started playing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild again. And it's been nine months since the last time I played, but I finally got back to it. And have every intention of finishing the game. The other day, I just finished Divine Beast Vah Naboris. This is the last Divine Beast I had left to defeat/handle in the game. It's also probably the hardest of the divine beasts.…
View PostAnimal Crossing New Horizons: What 10 Villagers I Would Love to Have?

One of my favorite things to do in Animal Crossing New Horizons is interacting with my villagers. Now, I do have ten villagers but there are some I would prefer it if they weren't on my island. So, in a dream world (or what I'm going to try to make happen) these are the villagers I would love to have living on my island with me. Some of these I already have, so I have made some progress towards this.…
View PostHappy Bunny Day Everyone! Thoughts on the First Holiday Event in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Well the day has finally come for Bunny Day in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Honestly, this event has been annoying and disappointing to say the least. Every single resource in the game was taken over by eggs. The event ran from April 1st to April 12th, which also co-resided with the Sakura (Cherry Blossom) event to the point where you couldn't even get that event's items.…
