Tips for Blogging with a Full Time Job

Tips for Blogging with a Full Time Job

I have been working full time for many years at this point, and at one point when I used to even work two jobs (one full time and one part time). And have more or less in that time period been posting blog posts every day. So I can’t spend every moment of the day writing, editing, tweeting, photographing, and other aspects that go along with running a blog. As I’m out of the house for eleven hours, with traffic and working. I don’t have a lot of time to solely dedicate to my blog as I would want. Plus I am also working on a bunch of projects, so that just adds even more to the time constraints. Don’t get me wrong, I love always been busy but it leaves me with very little time left over to play video games for my gaming channel or working on the blog. But there is a trick to blogging to make sure you never fall off schedule, when you don’t have time on your side.

Saying Goodbye to the Hotel

Saying Goodbye to the Hotel

For the past year and a half, I have worked at a pet hotel almost every weekend where I wasn’t on call for my full time job. As I mentioned last Monday, there have been a lot of changes happening. So much so that I had to make a very hard decision to say goodbye to the pet hotel. I gave my two weeks notice a week ago, but I don’t have any shifts after yesterday as I go on call the following week so I wasn’t on the schedule that last week anyways. So yesterday, I said goodbye to the dogs for the last time. All of the dogs I became very attached to, especially the regulars that came all of the time so I was very teary eyed when leaving. As I was turning in the notice. Though they aren’t my pets, I felt like they were part of my pack. Sure I’m not going to miss a few aspects, but overall I loved working at the hotel and seeing all of the dogs. Some weeks it was my highlight of the week, while others were different. Maybe one day I’ll go back if things in my life change, but for right now I really need to focus on my full time job and get a day off on the weekends so I don’t burn out. As I was constantly becoming burnt out and my physical/mental health was suffering for it.

7 Ways to Become More Productive in Your Daily Life

7 Ways to Become More Productive in Your Daily Life

Once you reach adulthood, deadlines for things become more abstract or you have to make yourselves. So how do you juggle everything that you encounter and have to do on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis? When I first moved out of my mom’s house, I was the opposite of productive towards house chores. And sometimes I still am with working 60-70 hours a week, luckily that will be going down to 50-60 hours by the end of the month. And hopefully back to 40-45 hours by the end of summer especially once I’ve completed my certification. But that has nothing to do with productivity.
