It’s been about two weeks since I moved into my apartment, and I’ve been working on putting everything together since I haven’t had internet. One of the areas that I have more or less completely put together is my kitchen. Which I haven’t used a lot at this time, but I’m working on breaking my habit of eating out to actually make my own food. So I thought today since my internet is finally set up I would share a few progress photos of putting together the area.
Something you’ll probably notice is I have several fake plants around the place, I love greenery and nature. But I cannot keep plants alive to save my life, so anywhere in my apartment you see plants they are fake. In the kitchen area, right now, I have one by the sink and another on the other side near a fused glass art that I made when I was in Door County a few years ago. Another thing I’m planning on getting candles for the holders above the counter top that I need to come up with a plan for as right now the island is rather boring. I also need to get some bar stools so you can sit along the island.
But yeah, that’s where I’m at right now with the kitchen. I’ll have some more posts in the coming weeks on other areas I’ve put together since I’m loving this Apartment Diaries series even though I haven’t written anything about it since I moved in. But I didn’t have internet, so you know I couldn’t. Now that I have it though I’ll be back to more regular blogging.
