For today as we’re almost to Christmas, I really wanted to do the Christmas Tag. As I find these super fun to do and you get to learn more about the person behind the blog as well as other readers since you can have a lovely conversation in the comments all about these questions. So feel free to do these yourself!

1. What is your favorite Christmas film?

My favorite Christmas film has to be How the Grinch Stole Christmas from 2000 with Jim Carrey and Taylor Momsen.

2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?

As I live in Minnesota, yes I have had a white Christmas… almost every Christmas. It’s wonderful and at the same time horrible due to driving.

3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?

I usually spend the holiday with my mom and sister at their house.

4. What is your favorite Christmas song?

My favorite Christmas song is actually a few different ones as I cannot chose just one. So my favorites are: Ho Ho Hopefully by The Maine, Where are you Christmas from the Grinch, and Mary Did you Know.

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

My sister and I open one of the presents we got for each other on Christmas Eve, otherwise we open them all on Christmas.

6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

I can only do it when I’m singing Rudolph… so image that for the next part.

You know Dasher, and Dancer, and Prancer, and Vixen, Comet and Cupid, Donder and Blitzen but do you recall the most famous reindeer of all… Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer.

7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

I am looking forward to our Christmas eve tradition of going to Christmas service then having Red Lobster’s articoke lobster dip with some crab cakes. And then on Christmas just playing board games with my mom and sister after opening presents.

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

My Christmas tree is fake, but my mom’s is real which I helped pick out.

9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?

That has to sugar cookies with frosted cut out into various holiday themed items like presents, bells, santa, reindeer, or angels. We make them every year from scratch.

10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

I honestly love giving gifts and feel horrible any year where I can’t afford to do so, because I always find things I would love to give others but just can’t.

11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

The best Christmas gift I ever got was one year instead of presents, my parents took us to Hawaii for the holidays. It was seriously the best thing ever.

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

I would love to go to New York City for Christmas. Skating in central park, going to see something on Broadway, and just going shopping/window shopping would be the best Christmas ever!

13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

It depends on the day. Some days the presents come out looking like they were wrapped really nicely. And other days it looks like a toddler wrapped the present, and used too much tape to correct her mistake.

14. Most memorable Holiday moment?

Same as going to Hawaii for Christmas. Spending the entire week of Christmas and New Years hanging out on the beaches, swimming with dolphins, and visiting literally everything on the island.

15. What made you realize the truth about Santa?

I was somewhere between the age of 5 and 7 when I learned the truth though I continue to pretend not to know the truth until I was 9 or 10. One Christmas my parents were putting out the presents all labelled from Santa, and something made me wake up since the living room was next to my bedroom. And I looked out to see what my parents were doing, I didn’t say anything and just pretended until my sister admitted she no longer believed.

16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I do not make New Years resolutions because they are something I can never stick to, which is why I just do monthly goals because that makes me stick to it because there’s less time.

17. What makes the holidays special for you?

Spending time with my family makes it special for me. It’s all I really need to make the holiday.

These were my answers, I would love to hear yours. So either part them in the comments, shoot me a link to your own blog post or YouTube video stating the answers to all of these.

And have a Merry Christmas Bugsy family!
