My sister surprised me with the newest Dominique Cosmetics palette called Berries & Cream. Apparently she used the coupon I got over the summer from the Lemonade palette and got me the Berries & Cream palette as a thank you. I have loved the last two palettes she has released, so I’m excited to play around with this palette. Instead of doing a full review, I’m going to do a work week worth of wearing this palette. No crazy creative looks, just everyday looks that are “wearable.”
As I’m not doing a full review I’m just going to share a brief overview of the palette. This palette is a sultry yet sweet color story with a variety of warm to cool tone shades. There are 8 creamy mattes, 3 silky shimmers, and 1 creamy glitter matte. The palette is longer than than the previous ones released by Dominique Cosmetics and comes in at $44. This is $2 more than the other palettes and includes two additional shades. The shadows are not in the typical circular pans and includes a mirror with a similar shape as the pans. Before we get into all of the looks I created during the course of the past week, here are the descriptions of all of the shades:
- Warm Pie: Matte red brown with gold glitter
- Chocolate Mousse: Rich matte brown
- Sweet Cream: Matte pale pink
- Toasted: Matte grey
- Bittersweet: Matte fuchsia
- Soft N’ Sweet: Matte mauve taupe
- Honey Dipped: Gold foil
- Sugar Cookie: Pale pink shimmer
- Cranberry: Maroon red shimmer
- Blueberry Muffin: Matte cobalt blue
- Cherry Juice: Matte deep plum
- Blackberry: Matte black
Look #1
This look was inspired by my hair color. Or rather I just matched my eyeshadow to my hair that day. This look was created using Soft n’ Sweet as a base with Cherry Juice used to build up the crease. Then to deepen up the outer corner I used Blackberry. For the inner corner I used Sugar Cookie and some more Cherry Juice for the lower lash line. And I have ColourPop Ultra Blotted Lip in Sleepy Eyes.

The next look is a neutral look with a pop of blue. ‘Cause of course I was going to be that basic. Sorry just thinking of all of the neutral palettes that only appear interesting due to a pop of blue. This palette isn’t like that but I couldn’t help myself. So for this look I used Toasted throughout my crease then deepened up with outer corner with Chocolate Mousse. Then I took Honey Dipped across my lids with Sugar Cookie in the inner corner. Then for that pop of blue I used Blueberry Muffin on my lower lash line. On my lips I have Anastasia Beverly Hills in Ashton.

The next look I packed on Blueberry Muffin on my lid and crease then blended it out with Bittersweet. Once I was happy with the depth and blend of those two shades I added a touch of Blackberry in the outer corner. Then applied Sugar Cookie across my lid layering over Blueberry Muffin. Lastly I smoked out the lower lash line with Bittersweet. I have on House of Lashes in Knockout and ColourPop BFF Mascara in Blue Ya Mind on my lower lashes.

A halo look using most of the purple tones. I started out with a mixture of Soft N’ Sweet and Sweet Cream all of the lids and crease. Then built it up with Bittersweet followed by Cherry Juice. And Blackberry in the outer corner. Then for the center I used Cranberry with Sugar Cookie in the center. I used all of the shades in the lower lash line as well. I also have on Ardell Demi Wispies lashes and Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in Toast.

Here is the final look I created which was a blue and gold combination. And I wanted to go a little ham with the glitter/metallic. I started out with Soft N’ Sweet all over my eyes then used Blueberry Muffin on the inner and outer thirds of my eyes with Honey Dipped in the center. I applied Azeredo Cosmetics Irresistible lashes and NYX Epic Ink Liner to complete the upper eyes. And highlighted the outer corner of the liner with Honey Dipped. Under my lower lash line I used Blueberry Muffin with Chocolate Mousse on the inner and outer third with more Honey Dipped in the middle. With some Sugar Cookie on the inner corner.
