Well This Sucks… But I’m Not Going to Let That Stop Me

As much as I like to say I’m good at pay attention to expiration dates on products, I clearly forgot how long I had a foundation and primer which caused a massive allergic reaction on my face. It’s not anything against those products since I’ve had them way too long and should’ve noticed how out of date they were. And I know I was never going to be noticed by Norvina but everyone online has been so supportive of each other that I thought I would share some more of my creative looks to see where that would get me. Plus it was fun. Then my face freaked out so I had mental flashes to art looks that people paint on their arms with face/body paints. And I was like, yes that’s what I can do.

So I’ve been starting to play around with this medium or surface rather. As I’m still using makeup to create looks.

The very first one I did I had no idea the range or space on what would look right when photographing the art look. It was inspired by Peachcait.

Products Used:

  • Water colors: Blue and Teal
  • ColourPop Liquid Liners (Graceland, The Hills, Ducky, and Make Luv)
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette

Next after learning from my previous mistake but keeping with the ocean theme I went onto a look inspired by the wave emoji.

Products Used:

  • Morphe x James Charles Artistry Palette
  • ColourPop Liquid Liners (Graceland and Crzy)
  • Blue glitter

The third arm art as I’m calling them is on the phases of the moon inspired by the amazingly talented Adele’s Makeup who did a similar look on her eyes.

Products Used:

  • Morphe x James Charles Artistry Palette
  • ColourPop Liquid Liners in Graceland and Ducky.

The fourth look is inspired by art itself, that being an artist palette with a paint brush.

Products Used:

  • Morphe x James Charles Artistry Palette
  • Pigment Palace Modern Royalty Palette
  • ColourPop Liquid Liners in Ducky, Try Me, Graceland, and Make Luv
  • Covergirl Intensify Me Smoked Amber Liquid Liner
  • NYX Colored Felt Tip Liner in White

I’m still working on this style but I really enjoy it since I find it easier to work with for the most part. And since it’s a smaller area it’s a bit easier to figure out how to make a look work out. I mean I had to do a failed space wise one first though I still love the sea turtle I did to figure that out. But now that I got that mapped out it’s a lot of fun. So I think I’m going to do a lot more of these in the future. Plus it’s really easy to clean up when I’m done unlike some looks that I’ve done in the past on my face.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS ART/MAKEUP STYLE?

Love ya,
