Everything I Read in 2022

Everything I Read in 2022

It's been an entire year. I hope everyone had a good year. I thought I would wrap up the year by looking back at every single book I read in 2022. We'll see if 2023 is similar in terms of how many books I read.…

Looking Back at the Games I Played in 2022

Looking Back at the Games I Played in 2022

I played a lot of games in the last year. Typically, I don't do a wrap-up type post in regard to the games I played. But I figured why not this year. I'm not really going to go into my thoughts on every game as most of them have a review on my blog. I'll link those where appropriate. I also included a highlight reel from my twitch streams, since a majority of the games were featured in this video (as well as some body painting but the majority are on the games). So, what all did I play?…

My Thoughts on Queen of Myth and Monsters (Adrian x Isolde, Book 2) by Scarlett St. Clair

My Thoughts on Queen of Myth and Monsters (Adrian x Isolde, Book 2) by Scarlett St. Clair

Scarlett St. Clair's Queen of Myth and Monsters is the second book in her Adrian x Isolde series. Unlike the first book, we get multiple points of view. I read the first book in this series over a year ago and remember really enjoying it. So I had high expectations for this book. As I share my thoughts, I'll try not to give too many spoilers, but there may be a few (though I tried to be as vague as possible regarding the plot while still sharing my opinions on things).…

What I’m Planning on Reading in 2023

What I’m Planning on Reading in 2023

Alright, in all seriousness, this is not everything I'm planning on reading. I'm no doubt going to read a lot on Kindle Unlimited, and a bunch of other things. But these are more the physical books on my bookshelf that I never got to for one reason or another that I plan on attempting to read in 2023. I also don't have a set reading goal, I'm just going to read whatever I'm going to read. Setting a number of books will either lead to stress or I'll be vastly wrong. Every year I've read more and more, but I also can't predict if anything is going to come up in the future that will change my reading habits. If I try to match 2022, I'll be wrong as I was unemployed for several months and I had limitless time to read. So, using that as a benchmark is going to be inaccurate. This is why I'm just stating some of the books I plan on reading for sure.…

My Thoughts on The Wolf and The Wildflower (Fated Fae, Book 2) by Ella Fields

My Thoughts on The Wolf and The Wildflower (Fated Fae, Book 2) by Ella Fields

The Wolf and the Wildflower by Ella Fields is a new standalone book that takes place in the Fated Fae universe, aka the same world used in The Savage and the Swan. While it is a standalone, characters from that book are featured in this one, including Scythe, Fang, and Dade. It takes place roughly around the same time as The Wolf and The Wildflower, as the war is still happening between the Gold Fae and the Red/Blood Fae. But we also learn that wolf-shifting faeries are not something unique to the Red Fae; those across the sea are also able to do so. So, it was interesting coming back to this world and seeing it through a different perspective as one of the main characters is from across the sea, while the other is Scythe.…

Reading Guide for The World of Solaria by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

Reading Guide for The World of Solaria by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

The World of Solaria by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti contains three separate series: Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac, Zodiac Academy, and Darkmore Penitentiary. There's no right way to read these series but there are two different recommended ways you could go about it. The first one is chronological order and the other is publication order. So, I thought I would share each of those here. These lists include the short stories/novellas for Zodiac Academy. However, the limited edition bonus chapters that were only available for one month on Kindle or through the Facebook group, are not on this list since those aren't easily accessible to everyone, or required additional sign-up. But just as a note, there are several of these that are not included.…

My Ranking of the Pokémon Games

My Ranking of the Pokémon Games

I've spent the vast majority of my life as a Pokemon fan. Is that to say I'm the best at the games? No. Does that mean I know every type matching off the top of my head? No. Does this mean I know every Pokemon and their basic stats? No. But that doesn't diminish how much time I've spent enjoying the games in this franchise. But, before I get into ranking the Pokemon games, I'd like to state that I have not played all of them. So, this will only be my ranking of the ones I've played in my lifetime. I'm going to divide my rankings into four categories: story, difficulty, replay value, and post-game.…

My Thoughts on Zodiac Academy Series by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

My Thoughts on Zodiac Academy Series by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

I finally got around to reading the Zodiac Academy series by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. I tried my hardest to avoid all spoilers with regard to this series. So far, only 8 of the 9 books in total have been released, with the last coming sometime in the future. They are available right now on Kindle Unlimited. While only eight of the books have been released, the first book was re-released but from the POV of the guys since the first book is solely told from the girls' POV. Every book after that is a mixture of their perspectives, with each POV told from the first POV.…
