Back in 2015 when I first started blogging, I had one blog where I talked about just anything I wanted to from video games to beauty. Then in 2016, I removed video game type posts from maepolzine.com and moved it to its own blog that I was sharing with my then-roommate. Over the course of the year and a half that blog existed, a lot changed from the name to how focused I was on it. It got to a point on each blog where I was constantly wondering “what next.” I was splitting my attention so much it was becoming hard to keep up with both. Or I didn’t want to write on one for days while the other one I had loads of ideas. To a point where I wasn’t putting out good quality of either since I was just posting things to post things though they weren’t the quality I wanted them to be.

The last few weeks I have been playing Life is Strange over on Twitch. I had never finished the game before. I did know the choice the game boiled down into, but everything else past Chapter Two was a mystery. And the only reason I didn’t finish playing it the first time was because I was also playing Dragon Age: Inquisition for the first time and that just is my all-time favorite game. But I wanted to give this game a chance and decided streaming it on Twitch would be the perfect solution. I am going to be playing the prequel “Life is Strange: Before the Storm” next on Twitch. So I’ll get into that game later once I’ve finished that game.

One of the products that has long time been on my wishlist is Cover FX Custom Enhancement Drops but never entered my collection as it always felt out of my reach. Recently I saw on Ulta that Makeup Revolution (a cruelty free brand well known for creating dupe products of high end brands for less) came out with liquid highlighters that look insanely similar to the Cover FX Custom Enhancement Drops. Each liquid highlighter from Makeup Revolution is $9, which seems so much more in my budget and to treat myself for getting a promotion at work I got them!
