Too Much of a Good Thing? Thoughts on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Collection Vol. 1-3

If you've been following my blog for a while you'll know I love collecting makeup. Certain brands in particular, one of those being Anastasia Beverly Hills. Now I don't have everything they have ever released, but I do have almost every eyeshadow palette since Modern Renaissance. Within the last two months they have released a lot of eyeshadow palette, almost to the rate of ColourPop releases (which I have cut myself off from) and honestly after this set from ABH I'm cutting myself off as well from their palettes so I can actually enjoy the ones that I've purchased. There are two others I'm going to get (Jeffree Star x Shane Dawson) and Tati's palette if it is cruelty free then no eyeshadow palette purchases for the next six months.…
View PostRainbow Splatter Skull | Vanessa Davis & James Charles Inspired Makeup Look

I was really inspired by this look James Charles and Vanessa Davis did for the "launch" of the Morphe x James Charles mini palette. Which is basically the same palette just smaller. I got the original palette when it launched, moved and had to part ways with it due to size, then regretted that and my sister repurchased it for me as a moving in present (my sister comes up with a million reasons to get me makeup, I generally don't ask her to but if I mention a palette looks cool and I can't afford it, suddenly she surprises me with it. She's the best, I love her to death). However, I recently got the Norvina Collection Volumes 1-3 and decided to use those instead to create my own version of this look.…
View PostAnastasia Beverly Hills: Palette Comparison & Ranking

I have the entire Anastasia Beverly Hills palette collection or at least of the main 14-pan palettes that typically come in the velvet packaging. So not including the Master palette by Mario, or any other limited edition palette they came out with. I just got into them within the last six months, I don't know if I'm honestly going to be getting every single palette from them that they come out with. But I'm living for the formula so I just might since I really enjoy collecting makeup. Some people collect shoes, cars, handbags, or trading cards, I used to collect Pokemon cards but now I collect makeup. Mainly liquid lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes. All the rest I don't.…
View Post3 Looks 1 Palette: Jackie Aina x Anastasia Beverly Hills Palette

Honestly, I wasn't going to get this limited edition palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills as from the looks of it it's a mixture of several palettes: Alyssa Edwards, Modern Renaissance, and Norvina. But since I got my sister the Riviera palette, she repaid me (her words, not mine) by getting me the Jackie Aina palette. But since I have the palette, I thought I would start out with doing a 3 looks 1 palette, and then update my rankings of the ABH palettes with my review once I've gotten more use out of this palette.…
View Post3 Looks 1 Palette: Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette

Since I've moved I can finally get access to my makeup again as I packed it probably way sooner than I should've. Though it's summer I was in the mood for more grungy makeup typically seen in fall. And since I have a series going of three look one palette, I thought I would revisit one of my favorites, Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette. I've used this palette several times in the past for posts but I haven't done one of these kinds of posts for it. So that's exactly what we're doing today.…

Sometimes you just have to get yourself something nice, and sometimes you get something to celebrate. This was a little bit of a mixture of both. I managed to get approved for an apartment I've been wanting to move into for the last year since the lease at the old place was finally over. But I had no funds to move back then as I was beyond broke, I couldn't move then. So, I worked my butt off to make sure it would happen this year. And I get to move in the start of July. Which I cannot wait for. To celebrate I got myself the Anastasia Beverly Hills Alyssa Edwards palette, I'll do a review of it later when I've played with it some more in my ranking the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette post.…

One of my favorite go-to palettes when I'm getting ready in the morning for work is Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam palette. It has a mixture of neutrals and rust tones, which are among my favorite colors from makeup to fashion. So next up in my revisiting my collection to create three looks using a single palette, I went with this staple one.…
View Post3 Looks 1 Palette: Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette

Continuing on with revisiting my entire collection, I'm going over to my high end bin to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism palette. Which was the limited edition Holiday 2017 palette but it is still listed on ABH's website but as of writing this is out of stock, they might restock it since the listing is still there. If you want to see my review of the palette, check it out here since I'm not going to be sharing thoughts in this post.…
