Review of Den of Vipers by K.A. Knight

Review of Den of Vipers by K.A. Knight

When picking the next book to read, I was going to go for something else. Then my mind kept going "yeah but Den of Vipers, what is that about? You keep seeing it on TikTok and quickly scrolling past." And my curiosity got the better of me. Honestly, the only thing I knew going into this book was that it was spicy and there's something with a bottle. I didn't read the book summary or look at any other details. And the accounts I saw this book popping up on normally read fantasy, so I thought it was along those lines... Nope. It was a bit of a shock and outside my normal realm of reading. So, now that I have finished the book I thought I share my thoughts on Den of Vipers by K.A. Knight.…

I Have No Idea Where to Start My Book TBR

I Have No Idea Where to Start My Book TBR

In a recent post, I mentioned how I did a massive book haul. That's a bit of an understatement. So, I decided to pull every book off my shelf that I want to read. And honestly, I have no idea where I even want to start with tackling this pile. Granted, I already started it last month and have posted reviews on every book that I read. This is not even everything if I'm being 100% honest. There are some books I got last year that should be in here as well, but considering how many books this already is I didn't go back to grab those. Maybe I'll end up reading those before some of these, but I thought this would be a fun post to do while I debate on what to read next. Hell, you guys might help me pick which one to start with.…

The Sims 4: Toddler to Adult Challenge

The Sims 4: Toddler to Adult Challenge

Since The Sims 4 added toddlers into the game, there's one thing that never really works perfectly in the game. And that's using the sliders to create a toddler without using the presets or genetics to create a sim. Somehow when you age them up some of their features just look off if you do it that way. And since I'm in the middle of a bunch of posts that are going to take a month or more to complete, I'm in a bit of a lull. So I thought I would attempt this challenge for on the blog.…

Adult Night at Minnesota Zoo

Adult Night at Minnesota Zoo

So one thing I really wanted to do for my birthday was go to the zoo, but in Minnesota it ends up just being a massive crowd of parents with children to the point where it's hot, sticky, and you can't see over them to look at the animals especially when you're five feet two inches tall. My sister, Lucy, discovered we could go to the zoo when there wasn't any of that. Minnesota Zoo was offering starting this summer once a month, a time where it's adults only at the zoo for two and a half hours. So no crowds, no filters, and booze. Sign me up! …

Things I Get Excited for as an Adult

Things I Get Excited for as an Adult

As I'm moving out in less than a week now, I've noticed there are a lot of things I get excited about that honestly I never thought I would be excited about. This includes a lot of appliances and household shopping that I've suddenly gotten very excited to get. Including: grill for our little patio, crock pots, and various home accents like plants. And not just random home accents but ones that actually go together like I was designing something straight out of HGTV. So these are just some of the things I get super excited about as an adult.…
