Eyeshadow Palettes I Said Goodbye to During the Move

When I moved to my new apartment, one thing that I had to address was my eyeshadow palettes. Over the last year or so, I went overboard with getting palettes. A lot of them I have not reviewed or I’ve only reached for once or twice due to the amount of palettes I have gathered. And when I moved, I found I didn’t really have a spot for all of them. I was considering just leaving them on top of my new little beauty space but in the end decided to put them in the top drawer of my dresser. And while I had already gotten rid of a bunch (mostly expired ones) before the move, there were more I needed to say goodbye to. So I thought I would just go over some of the ones I donated, gave away, or tossed out during my most recent move.

Is BH Cosmetics Zodiac Love Signs Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette as Good as the Original?

My sister surprised me for Valentine’s Day and got me the BH Cosmetics Zodiac Love Signs Palette, which is a follow up to a palette they released over a year ago. And I loved the original palette, it has 24 eyeshadows (12 baked shimmers and 12 buttery mattes) and one highlighter in the center. The same story for eyeshadow layouts can be said about the Zodiac Love Signs Palette. Same with it’s massive size that doesn’t make it travel friendly. The Love Signs is supposed to be “a celestial spectrum of sun-kissed hues and cool cosmic shades.” I wore the Zodiac Palette all winter long last year so I wanted to see if the Love Signs palette would live up to the original.

Zodiac Elemental Tutorial: Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

For my final look in this Zodiac Elemental series, I decided to do it live over on Twitch. Which I’ve never done a makeup tutorial live before but it was a lot of fun! And I might do more of them in the future. Maybe not all avant garde or creative looks, but definitely more streams of those. I’ve been really getting into Twitch and streamed almost every single day last week. I don’t think…

Zodiac Elemental Tutorial: Air (Aquarius, Libra, Gemini)

A while ago on Instagram the cloud eyeshadow look was everywhere and I practiced doing the look but it was no where near what I was happy with so I wanted to give it another go with the air signs for my Zodiac Element series. If you were not aware, the air signs in astrology/zodiac are Aquarius, Libra, and Gemini. They are known to be individuals who are all about action, ideas, and motion similar to changing with the winds. They love adventure and can be up in the clouds with their dreams, so I wanted to reflect that in this look.

Zodiac Elemental Tutorial: Earth (Virgo, Taurus, Capricorn)

Going to be honest, I almost wasn’t even going to post this on here. I filmed and re-shot an earth look for this series about six times. Each one turned out worse than the one I made before. And none of them I liked. I don’t know why, I love nature. Nature relaxes me after a long day. I love trees and flowers, but for the life of me I could not come up with a single idea for this series on the Earth Zodiac signs (Virgo, Taurus, and Capricorn). I even looked up other looks to get inspiration. But nothing. Then I saw a tweet from Sarah McGonagall (who is an amazingly talented makeup artist) that had nothing to do with this series but got me to revisit this element and try one last time instead of just settling for one of the looks.

BH Cosmetics Liquid Foundation – Naturally Flawless in 201 Ivory & 204 Natural Beige Review

I recently cleared out all of my old and expired products then realized I didn’t have any foundations other than two formulas. And one of them isn’t cheap so while I’m on a budget, I don’t want to use that up. So I would rather find several that work perfectly that aren’t overly expensive. So one of the foundations that I decided to test was the BH Cosmetics Liquid Foundation – Naturally Flawless. As it’s impossible to tell online what a shade is going to be I ended up getting 201 Ivory and 204 Natural Beige.
