The Boston Travel Diaries: Get Ready With Me

Day Two of working in the MA office, and I couldn’t get this idea out of my head. So, we’re doing a get ready with me. I’m not a morning person (like at all), so I make sure my makeup routine when I have to get up and go places is real quick. If I can put it off until I’m more awake, I will and then I take more time with it. But there’s none of that on office days.…
View PostProducts I Commonly Use when Body Painting

I love body painting. It's been something that I've gotten better at over the course of the last year to two years. And that's mainly been due to practicing and doing a different look every single week. I would say at this point I primarily only reach for my makeup when I'm doing a body paint look. I still do daily makeup when I know I'm going to be on a video conference call or leaving my apartment, but that's pretty minimal. I don't really do the full glam thing anymore or test out a bunch of products like I used to prior to the pandemic. My habits around makeup have completely changed. So, I thought I would discuss the products I typically use for body painting since it usually ends up being the same things I reach for every time.…
View PostSpring Bees Body Paint & Art

We all have things we're allergic to. Some people are allergic to specific foods or can't handle certain things (nuts, gluten, lactose, etc.) and then there are those that are allergic to other things (pollen, dust, animals, etc.). I fall into the last group. I'm allergic to bees. Not to a deadly degree, but if I do get stung by them or wasps or get any other kind of bug bite my skin balloons ridiculously. Add on the fact I'm allergic to the medicine commonly given to deal with that swelling, it's a fun combination. Since Spring is returning, that means bees are going to be coming back. So, I thought it would be fun to body paint them this week.…
View PostBeauty Product Standouts & Discoveries of 2019

I was recently going through my makeup collection and decluttering a bunch of products that I didn't end up using. During this process I found a bunch of empty products that I held onto so I wouldn't forget how much I loved them to repurchase in the future. Then I went on a no buy, and never ended up purchasing new ones instead moved onto a 'Project Pan' style method with the rest of my collection. However, it gave me the idea to go over the products that I loved and used up in 2019 as there were quite a few standouts in my opinion looking back over the last year.…
View PostYou’re Doomed! Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th Makeup Look

I was not planning on doing another slasher horror movie look until next week, but last night there was a power outage and I didn't really have anything else to do. So, I decided to create Jason Voorhees from the cult classic Friday the 13th. I was inspired to do this specific version from @peachcait over on Instagram. Being completely honest, I have never watched this movie or most of the iconic horror classics. Maybe this Halloween season I'll actually watch them for the first time rather than just the "Everything Wrong With..." videos on YouTube.…
View PostHappy Independence Day! Fourth of July Makeup Look

It's Fourth of July in the United States so I thought I would do my makeup today inspired by the holiday. Hope everyone has a great day! I have one more post this week coming up on Saturday then I'll be offline for the next week or so while I move. So see you all when I get back!…
View PostOuter Space Neon Fairy: ColourPop Festival Collection Makeup Tutorial

Today I'm going to try something new, let me know what you think in the comments on if I should do more of these in the future. Basically it's a picture tutorial for a look that I shared on Instagram. Which someone nicely named: Outer Space Neon Fairy. And considering the moment I tried to take this look off my entire face looked like I was covered in fairy dust, I'm couldn't agree more.…
View PostIf I Could Only Choose One of Each Product…

I don't know why but I realized most products I use I get fixated on one product over that category then never try anything else. Then there are others where I have a massive range of products that I reach for or rotate rather than having favorites. So I wanted to challenge myself to actually just say if I could only have one, which product would I choose to leave with. I had a hard time with some categories but I'm pretty pleased with the results.…
