Today’s tag is the Behind the Blogger Tag that I was tagged in by Ellie from Read to Ramble, thank you so much for tagging me! If you don’t know Ellie or don’t follow her blog, I definitely recommend creating her out. I love reading her reviews. This tag was created by Ellyn from allonsythornraxx. Now, on to the questions!
I have to say thank you so much to Chelsea from Mugs and Makeup for the Sunshine Blogger Award Nomination! I’m so glad you love my content. The Sunshine Blogger Awards are a perfect way to recognize great content of bloggers you enjoy. So others can discover more amazing blogs. It is a peer run award system, and there are a few rules to participate.
I’ve been more or less daily blogging for the last few years. During that time frame, I have learned a lot and there are some definite pros and cons that come with blogging daily. Now I don’t sit down and write every single day, or even write posts that go live on that day. I schedule out a large majority of my blog posts to go live every single day and sometimes even two posts a day.
I have been shy my entire life. I used to force my sister to ask waiters or waitresses at the restaurants to ask where the restroom was for me, because I was too shy and scared to do it myself. And that’s never changed. I was always the quiet kid in class to the point where they my creative writing class joked that I had to be a stoner, because I didn’t talk. When really, I didn’t talk because I was too shy to and didn’t want the attention of my classmates. So I focused on my writing and it’s always been something that I feel no pressure about. Same goes with painting, as you can be open about anything without feeling the pressure of social situations. And I would say this is still a true statement even today with my blog, I’ve become quite a wallflower blogger. I don’t like hyping myself or blog up to others, if someone else enjoys a post then that’s enough… but of course no one is going to read it if you don’t put yourself out there. I got the idea to write this post from From Roses who discussed this same topic over on her blog.
Many thanks to Stumbly for including me in her list of nominees for The Versatile Blogger Award. This is the second time I’ve been nominated for this award, and I really appreciate it. Stumbly which is a blog that focuses on wellness, relationships, travel, and culture. So before I share a few fun facts about myself and then my nominees for the Versatile Blogger Award, here’s the rules/guidelines for nominees: Thank the person who nominated…
Over the past few months I’ve been working hard making my blog the best version it’s ever been. From getting a template from Pipdig, getting help with designing a logo, and purchasing items to make the quality better. Were all of these things needed? No, but they’re investments I wanted to make into my blog. And I honestly think it has been the best result, as there’s actually engagement for once on here and I can see it growing. Something I hardly ever saw before I made all of these changes. But there are a few more things that I want to do to improve the blog.
