What I’m Planning on Reading in 2023

What I’m Planning on Reading in 2023

Alright, in all seriousness, this is not everything I'm planning on reading. I'm no doubt going to read a lot on Kindle Unlimited, and a bunch of other things. But these are more the physical books on my bookshelf that I never got to for one reason or another that I plan on attempting to read in 2023. I also don't have a set reading goal, I'm just going to read whatever I'm going to read. Setting a number of books will either lead to stress or I'll be vastly wrong. Every year I've read more and more, but I also can't predict if anything is going to come up in the future that will change my reading habits. If I try to match 2022, I'll be wrong as I was unemployed for several months and I had limitless time to read. So, using that as a benchmark is going to be inaccurate. This is why I'm just stating some of the books I plan on reading for sure.…

Everything I Read in 2021

Everything I Read in 2021

It's been an entire year. I hope everyone had a good year. I thought I would wrap up the year by looking back at every single book I read in 2021. Honestly, I'm surprised by how many books I read. Not only that but I started reading new genres during the course of this year, though it still is related to fantasy/sci-fi (for the most part). We'll see if 2022 is similar in terms of how many books I read. I have a lot on my reading list still.…

My Thoughts on A Curse So Dark And Lonely (The Cursebreaker Series, Book 1) by Brigid Kemmerer

My Thoughts on A Curse So Dark And Lonely (The Cursebreaker Series, Book 1) by Brigid Kemmerer

I love a retelling of a classic tale. Especially of Beauty and the Beast, so when I learned of A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer it found its way onto my bookshelves. Though it's taken me a few months to getting around to reading it. As I have many books awaiting my attention. Plus, I was a bit nervous to read it. I kind of kept thinking "what if it's like A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas" that was another retelling of this tale. Well, the two books are extremely different. And I'm glad about that. This one feels more like Beauty and the Beast without some other story (Hades and Persephone) being intertwined with it. While this one goes off in its own direction from the original tale, it still stays true in some regards to it, while still telling a compelling story of its own.…

I Have No Idea Where to Start My Book TBR

I Have No Idea Where to Start My Book TBR

In a recent post, I mentioned how I did a massive book haul. That's a bit of an understatement. So, I decided to pull every book off my shelf that I want to read. And honestly, I have no idea where I even want to start with tackling this pile. Granted, I already started it last month and have posted reviews on every book that I read. This is not even everything if I'm being 100% honest. There are some books I got last year that should be in here as well, but considering how many books this already is I didn't go back to grab those. Maybe I'll end up reading those before some of these, but I thought this would be a fun post to do while I debate on what to read next. Hell, you guys might help me pick which one to start with.…
