Can We Dupe it? Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien Palette

Can We Dupe it? Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien Palette

At the beginning of 2020, Jeffree Star announced that the Alien Palette, which has been out of stock for some time will no longer be coming back. Since this is one of my favorite palettes even though I broke it when I took it out of the original packaging, I was debating on getting a second which now will no longer be happening. So, I thought I would bring back this series and see if I can come up with some dupes for my favorite shades in that palette.…

Can We Dupe it? Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette

Continuing on with my single pan declutter project, I'm going to be comparing my individual shadows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette as it's one of my go to palettes. Sometimes I do have issues with Subculture, but ultimately the shades just call to me. So I want to see just how close we can get to recreating the palette using my individual shadows. Now I know for a fact we won't get close on a large majority of the shades.…

Can We Dupe it? Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty Palette

This is probably going to be my most "off" Can We Dupe It posts, but I still find this a lot of fun to do as I compare my palettes to my individual shadows as a means to declutter. So today I'm comparing some of my shadows with the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty Palette. I still have five full large eyeshadow palettes of individual shadows but a smaller palette has been completely emptied out so using this series I've managed to declutter 12 shades that I had duplicates of elsewhere in my eyeshadow collection.…

Can We Dupe it? Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Palette

Can We Dupe it? Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Palette

The last two palettes I attempted to dupe or really just compare my individual shadows to were on both spectrum of neutral to bold. So I thought I would go back to my first loved eyeshadow palette, that being the Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Palette. As always I went through what remained in my collection after the last two declutter rounds and if a shade matches, it gets decluttered since I don't need that many individual shadows considering how many palettes I have. And at the start of this I had six full empty palettes filled of individual shadows.…

Can We Dupe It? Dominique Cosmetics Latte Palette

Next up in my "Can We Dupe It?" Series I'm going to do one of my favorite everyday palettes, which is the Dominique Cosmetics Latte Palette. It has quite an interesting color story especially with the metallic shades so I was a little excited about that since if a shade matches exactly, I'm decluttering the individual shadow I'm comparing the palette to.…

Can We Dupe it? Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette

I'm going to do a new mini-series on my blog where I take some of the palettes out of my luxury or high end bin and try to recreate it using individual shadows that I have in my collection. I'm not going to do every palette in my collection as some of them have a lot of shadows that I know I can't recreate. And I don't know of the palettes I picked out if I can honestly recreate them completely but that's why I wanted to do this series. As I'm mentioning I'm just going to focus on recreating the palettes from individual shadows as in the end if I have a lot of the same tones I'm going to de-clutter those pans. 'Cause I can't think of any better way to go through them where I won't instantly go where is that one shadow. So to start with I'm going to start with one of the more recent palettes to join my collection: Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera.…
