Since The Sims 4 added toddlers into the game, there’s one thing that never really works perfectly in the game. And that’s using the sliders to create a toddler without using the presets or genetics to create a sim. Somehow when you age them up some of their features just look off if you do it that way. And since I’m in the middle of a bunch of posts that are going to take a month or more to complete, I’m in a bit of a lull. So I thought I would attempt this challenge for on the blog.
The Sims Supply has been doing a challenge on his YouTube challenge where you basically deconstruct a house or building in The Sims 4 using a specific theme. I decided to use a Starbuck Inspired Restaurant that was originally renovated by MonsterGamiing and built by audrcami, which I found on The Sims 4 gallery. It looked really cool… so it must be destroyed!
I can’t remember where I first saw this challenge. Basically it’s you use a number generator to determine what shadows in a palette you have to use to create a look. Since I just got the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Vault Collection, I thought it would be a fun to attempt this challenge using all four of the palettes. I did one generator focused on the palettes (1-4) each referring to the palettes in the order I reviewed them. Then another one that’s 1-10 referring to the shadows in that palette. I ran both of these generators six times since on average that’s generally the number of shadows I use in an eyeshadow look.
There has been a challenge going around on YouTube where your dog(s) pick your makeup, and you have to use what they choose to do your makeup for the day. And my dogs, and more my sister’s dog always is getting into the cupboard where I store my makeup to eat it. So I thought it would be fun to offer the makeup to them to see what they wanted me to wear.
Starting at the beginning of June, I am making it a goal of mine for 100 days to post something makeup related every single day. And since my theme on Instagram is having 3 similar posts in a row, I’m not sure if that means 3 images a day or I do 3 days of similar things. Like a makeup look 3 times then product close ups 3 times. Or a combination of both. I’m doing this challenge to further improve my photography skills as well as to get better overall with makeup. I’m planning on doing a lot of things I haven’t tried before like body painting and advant garde. Normally I use references but I’m in the mood to create something original.
Now, this isn’t the first time I’ve attempted this challenge created by Mariah Leonard, and I love doing this challenge every now and then as it forces me outside of my makeup comfort zone. Typically I just wear neutral or bronze shades, so forcing me to step outside my little bubble and just make different colors go together is a fun little challenge. Now the colors don’t always work together. For instance, I would change the lipstick if I were to do this look again. But overall, I love how it turned out.
