Turned Myself into Princess Zelda from Tears of the Kingdom Using Body Paint

It’s been a minute since I’ve body painted, since my eight-year-old ringlight died. But I finally have working lights! As my webcam keeps glitching, I can’t actually record it right now. But, at the very least, I can paint in my free time. And since I’ve been addicted with playing…
View PostTurned Myself into Lara Croft from Tomb Raider

I've been playing the Tomb Raider series (2013 ones) over on Twitch, so I felt it was only right that I turn myself into Lara Croft using body paint and makeup. I swear Lara should not be alive at the end of these games. It's becoming a point I keep pointing out all the medical injuries as I play these games. Don't get me wrong, I'm having a blast playing them but still, Lara should not be alive. So, I wanted to reflect that in this body paint but including her injuries and the ripped-up tank top she's rocking by the end of the game.…
View PostWonder Woman DC Comics Collab Body Paint

I enjoy body painting, it's a chill hobby that I like to do at least once a week. I never really body paint with the goal of getting all the attention online. I just upload them to my Instagram because 'Hey, I spent hours on this. It needs to be saved somewhere and someone might enjoy it too.' So, when I got invited to join Mrs. Lovecraft's DC collab, I was all for it. Joining a bunch of creators, many of whom I'm mutual stream friends with, who were going to all do a body paint theme together sounded like a lot of fun. I debated for a good while on which DC character I was going to do and decided that Wonder Woman would be a lot of fun. …
View PostTurning Myself into Itward from Fran Bow

ng time. So, I was really excited to do that on during one of my more recent live streams on Twitch. I did a mixture of the game's style with a more realistic skull using Madeyewlook's Itward body paint as a reference.…
View PostHowl Pendragon with Calcifer from Howl’s Moving Castle Body Paint

It's been a hot minute since I've shared a body painting on my blog. So, I thought I would share my most recent body paint/cosplay today. Since I absoltely love how it turned out. It's Howl Pendragon from the beginning of the movie with a little Calcifer on my cheek. I created this look during a Twitch stream. So, chat helped me decide the direction of the look. I couldn't decide between blond wig Howl with Calcifer or black wig with raven feathers similar to the ones Howl takes on later in the movie. We ended up going with the former.…
View PostMarvel’s Scarlet Witch Body Paint

I've been really enjoying doing body painting lately or at least doing it once a week. That way I don't get burnt out. This week I turned myself into Marvel's Scarlet Witch from Wandavision. I love Wanda, she's one of my favorite characters in the MCU. I let my Discord decide who I turned myself into and I'm really glad they went with this character. The other choices were: Deadpool, Spiderman, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man. Plus, I haven't seen anyone else recreate this version of Scarlet Witch in body paint. The original? Sure. But this one? Nope. Maybe I'm wrong but I didn't see any on a quick search. I mostly was trying to get a sense of how anyone else would do the headpiece, but I couldn't find one that didn't use an actual headpiece, so I winged it. And I have to say I love how this look turned out.…
View PostThe Power of Christ Compels You! Regan from the Exorcist Inspired Makeup Look

The Exorcist is one of those films where the horror just doesn't hold up over time. Or maybe we're just desensitized to horror and gore these days from the news and internet that it no longer holds the same freight level it used to. When this film first came out, people were vomiting, fleeing the theater and their were priests there for the movie-goers. Since I'm on a bit of a classic horror movie recreation for this Halloween, I had to attempt Regan from The Exorcist.…
