Turning Myself into Itward from Fran Bow

Turning Myself into Itward from Fran Bow

ng time. So, I was really excited to do that on during one of my more recent live streams on Twitch. I did a mixture of the game's style with a more realistic skull using Madeyewlook's Itward body paint as a reference.…

Howl Pendragon with Calcifer from Howl’s Moving Castle Body Paint

Howl Pendragon with Calcifer from Howl’s Moving Castle Body Paint

It's been a hot minute since I've shared a body painting on my blog. So, I thought I would share my most recent body paint/cosplay today. Since I absoltely love how it turned out. It's Howl Pendragon from the beginning of the movie with a little Calcifer on my cheek. I created this look during a Twitch stream. So, chat helped me decide the direction of the look. I couldn't decide between blond wig Howl with Calcifer or black wig with raven feathers similar to the ones Howl takes on later in the movie. We ended up going with the former.…

I Turned Myself into a Cracked Stone Statue

I Turned Myself into a Cracked Stone Statue

Tonight during a Twitch stream, I turned myself into a cracked stone statue using body paint and some eyeshadow. This look was roughly inspired by @kristinefargerik and @artyfaceart, and the only thing edited in the photos is my eye color. We got a little carried away during stream with stone/cracked puns, which I thought was hilarious. Usually I have a long list of products that I used when creating looks but I only used a few products. Those being: Madeyewlook body paint in Yeti and Ink, ColourPop Smoke Show palette, and NYX liquid liners.…

Making a Clown of Myself

Making a Clown of Myself

I haven't done a makeup photo diary or post in a while. I've done creative makeup looks for Caturday (a thing I do every Saturday with two of my streaming friends: Foxtail and Cassii over on Twitch), but I just haven't made specific posts about them. Sometimes I don't remember to post them on Instagram though the most of them are. But this one is just creative makeup for the sake of creative makeup. I wasn't trying to do it for anything. I was just in the mood and picked one of the looks I had in my Inspo folder. This pastel rainbow clown look inspired by @yannalinnaa and @jamescharles.…

Deershroom Inspired Makeup Look

Deershroom Inspired Makeup Look

Hope you had a great week. My past week has been all over the place. I started reading Lightbringer again, then got distracted and started reading A Court of Mist and Fury. So, didn't really have something that I wanted to chat about on the blog. But I thought I would share my makeup look for today (Caturday) on the blog. If you don't know what Caturday is. It's a Twitch Community Day I'm doing with some fellow streamers: Foxtail, Cassii, and Louise also known as Bunny. This week's stream was Forest Creatures. So, I decided to become a Deershroom (a cross between a deer and mushroom as I couldn't decide between the two).…

Pirate Map Makeup Look

Pirate Map Makeup Look

I did this look two weeks ago, and figured why not share it on the blog. I'm in a bit of a reading slump after finishing A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas. Like I can't pick up another book without my brain circling back to that one. So anything book related is on pause for the time being until my brain gets over it. And I haven't shared anything makeup related in ages, so I thought I'd share this today. This look was was inspired by @keilidhmua and @llumosmakeup. …

Looking Back at the Last 4 Years of Makeup

Looking Back at the Last 4 Years of Makeup

This is something that I saw Sarah McGonagall post on Twitter the other day, of looking at artistic growth over the last four years (2017-2020). And it got me looking back at my photos that I've saved over the years of makeup looks that I've done. Plus, considering I haven't been doing any makeup since I ran out of contacts during quarantine I thought this would be a fun idea.…

My Favorite Looks I Did in 2019

My Favorite Looks I Did in 2019

A lot of these looks are recreations from various artists including: James Charles, Keilidh, Orlayna, Sn0ok, Yana, Lilliam Baez, Peachcait, Vanessa Davis, Sandra, Abbey Strohmeyer, and Charlotte Roberts. I'm pretty sure that's everyone who inspired the looks I'm showing below, if I missed anyone I'll make sure to go back in and add them. But I think I got everyone, thankfully Instagram exists and I had posted these there at one point in the last year for me to go back and reference. I had a lot of fun creating looks last year and pushing myself to try new techniques. I can't wait to see where 2020 brings us as I have plans to do more looks.…
