Review of Madeyewlook Body Paint

Review of Madeyewlook Body Paint

I finally got contacts, which means I can do creative makeup again! I avoided it when I just had my glasses as I COULD NOT see what I was doing. The looks weren't clean or I couldn't get the details that I wanted. So, I took eight months off from doing it all together. And then basically stopped posting on here about makeup. But since I have contacts again, we're bringing it back! So, I thought I would start out with going over (reviewing) Madeyewlook's new line of body paint. She's an incredible body painter that I have been following on YouTube/Twitch for years. I've even done a video in the past that she featured attempting her Alice Madness Return's Insane Child... which is one of the looks featured in this post as I thought it was fitting and I recreated it.…

Review of e.l.f. x JKissa to the Rescue Palette

Review of e.l.f. x JKissa to the Rescue Palette

The first time JKissa collaborated with e.l.f. I missed out as it was constantly out of stock whenever I tried to get it. So, this time I did not want to miss out with the To the Rescue Eyeshadow Palette. That is not the only thing that came with this collection. There was also a furever eyeshadow brush set (I love e.l.f. brushes and they make up the majority of brushes I own/use), and Tsuki To My Heart Eyeshadow Topper Duo. I'm not going to be focused on those two items from this collection in this review, but I did get both in addition to the palette.…

First Impression on Melt Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palettes

First Impression on Melt Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palettes

A brand I've been curious about for ages is Melt Cosmetics. I never ended up trying them as their palettes are $58 for 5 shades in their magnetic stack palettes or 10 in their rectangular packaging. Not to mention it was always sold out. Now I do have some expensive palettes like from Anastasia Beverly Hills ($60 for Norvina Pro Palette, 25 shades) or Jeffree Star Cosmetics ($58 for Jawbreaker Palette, 24 shades). So, around the same price but double the number of shades. But for my birthday since I can't go out this year, I decided to treat myself and got three of Melt Cosmetics Palettes: Gemini, Rust, and Twenty Seven. The last also just happens to be what age I am turning on the 15th.…

Comparing All the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Collection Formulas

Comparing All the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Collection Formulas

After the whole Morphe changing the original palette of Jaclyn Hill formula, I thought I would compare all three collections to each other. More so than I did in the post discussing this change as I think it's interesting. I will not be including the original formula in this post as that is no longer in production. And I mainly wanted to go over this as in Jaclyn Hill's commercial for the palette she describes her newest palette (Volume 2) as having the same formula of the original palette. So, I wanted to see if the new "original" formula is the same as the volume 2 palette, or if it's closer to the vault collection which was hit or miss for a good portion of people. My vault collection wasn't that bad, and I do reach for those from time to time, but I know others found issues with it.…

Charlotte Tilbury & Physician’s Formula are no Longer Cruelty Free, Selling Products in Mainland China

Two companies that have recently come to my attention have started selling products in China are Charlotte Tilbury and Physician's Formula. Since I exclusively use products that are cruelty free, I felt it was only right to update my readers and my cruelty free guide to reflect these latest discoveries. I learned about these through Ethical Elephant and Cruelty Free Kitty, two excellent sources for information. So, what is the deal with each of these?…

Did Morphe Change the Formula on the Original Jaclyn Hill Palette?

Did Morphe Change the Formula on the Original Jaclyn Hill Palette?

One of the best palettes that I think Morphe ever came out with was the original Jaclyn Hill palette back in 2017. I still love that palette and use it regularly, but I noticed while I was curious on their website (was looking at the new palette, debating on getting it) that something changed. For starters, it's no longer listed under the vegan section of their website. So, I went back to my original review where I had the ingredients list and decided to do a comparison as I used to include that list in every review back in the day.…

Review & Swatches of the ColourPop 9-Pan Shadow Palettes (Part 2)

Review & Swatches of the ColourPop 9-Pan Shadow Palettes (Part 2)

Honestly, this is something I fell off the train of following with each of the new releases ColourPop did with the 9-pan palettes as I have gotten almost all of them. Save for three of more recent ones though I will probably end up getting them at some point. Instead of going back to the original post I did on this, I figured I would just start a part 2. So, if you want to see the first set in ColourPop's 9-pan collection check out that post.…

3 Looks 1 Palette: Ace Beaute Flair Palette

Doing another 3 look 1 palette, but this time with the Ace Beaute Flair Palette. This palette has fifteen shades in a more fall rainbow scheme for $38.99 and includes three different finishes: matte, metallic, and duochrome which are some of my all time favorite shadows to play with.…
