Are You the One I’ve Been Looking for? Overview of the ColourPop x Disney Frozen II Anna and Elsa Shadow Palettes

ColourPop and Disney collaborated yet again for a Frozen II Collection, which included two 9-pan palettes named after each of the sisters: Anna and Elsa. Each palette costs $15, includes a mirror and comes in a cardboard packaging. I love Disney, and recently saw Frozen II (see The Pop Culture Download #18 for my thoughts on the movie). I've been listening to several of the songs on repeat since seeing the movie. So, even though I swore I wasn't going to buy anymore palettes... I couldn't stop myself. I had to get these.…
View PostI Can’t Help It I LOVE Disney | Overview of the ColourPop x Disney Midnight Masquerade Collection

When it comes to Disney, I can't help myself I have to have it. I have seen almost every Disney movie at least five times. And can break out into any song at the sheer mention of a line. So, when ColourPop announced the Midnight Masquerade collection with Disney (their third collaboration) I wanted it in the worst way. My sister ended up surprising me by getting me the entire collection not just part of it as my Christmas present. Yes, several months early but you know what I'm in love!…
View PostWhich Tinted Moisturizer is Better? Florence by Mills Like a Light Skin Tint or ColourPop Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer

Fall has arrived along with the freezing cold temperatures and already the first snowfall, so my skin is dry as hell. And instead of wearing a full coverage foundation, I've surprisingly been wanting less coverage. But still something to even out the skin and provide some moisture. So, I've been trying to get into tinted moisturizers. Specifically I've been trying out the Florence by Mills Like a Light Skin Tint and ColourPop Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer. Since these aren't really foundations, I'm not going to put them in my foundation comparison/ranking post. And will just be doing the one comparison between the two.…
View PostIs Bigger Better? Review of the Kathleen Lights x ColourPop So Jaded Shadow Palette

Previously the biggest ColourPop palette was like sixteen shades, but they have released in collaboration with Kathleen Lights a thirty shade Shadow Palette called So Jaded. Which is inspired by crystals and gemstones. Every time I reach into the palette, my mind instantly goes to Steven Universe. Maybe as I've just watched that show one too many times. Anyways, I've been playing around with the palette quite a bit since I purchased it on the day it launched. I held off on reviewing it mainly as I haven't had time to blog with work, but I'm getting around to it now. So let's dissect this palette and my thoughts on the formula.…
View PostMy Favorite Products from ColourPop

I stopped doing reviews on every product ColourPop releases, but I still get almost everything that they release. Considering they release new products every week, my bank account isn't a massive fan of that but they aren't insanely expensive either. Since I haven't been reviewing everything and have been insanely busy with work, I thought it would be a quick and fun thing to do a post on all of my favorite products from ColourPop.…
View PostReview & Swatches of the ColourPop 9-Pan Shadow Palettes (Part 1)

One brand I love mainly has they have excellent products on a drugstore budget is ColourPop, granted they release a lot of products. While I do not have everything they have ever released nor will ever have everything, the mass majority of my makeup is from ColourPop. And I haven't done a few of their eyeshadow palettes in quite some time. Practically on their 9-pan palettes that are almost all monochromatic. So I thought I would share my thoughts and a brief overview of each of those palettes since I have them all.…
View PostFull Face Using Only ColourPop Products

Today I decided to share a little makeup tutorial using only products from ColourPop since they now have every area of the face covered minus false lashes. I also don't have their liquid eyeliners yet so I don't have that on but they do have a "kohl" or creme gel liner which I did use for the waterline.…
View PostDisney x ColourPop It’s a Princess Thing Pressed Powder Palette Review & Swatches

ColourPop's latest collaboration is with Disney for a designer collection inspired by the princesses. It included three glosses, six lipsticks, two super shock highlighters, six super stock shadows, and an eyeshadow palette. This collection is limited edition. And though I love the look of the other products, I wouldn't use them so I only got the eyeshadow palette which includes 15 soft romantic, neutral shades for $20 each with 0.035 oz of product.…
