First Impression of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Nintendo has finally released the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game was released called The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. And takes place roughly three years after the events in the previous game, so fans that played the previous game will see familiar areas but with a twist of the addition of sky and underground areas. Since, I haven't finished the game (and won't for some time), I figured I would give a first impression of this game versus giving a full review. So, there's not going to be a lot regarding the plot in this post.…
View PostWas it Bad Makeup Science? Review & Swatches of the ColourPop x Safiya Nygaard Lux Lipstick Collection

Safiya Nygaard has a long running series on her YouTube channel where she performs bad makeup science that often results in mixing together large amounts of makeup. Often times being lipstick. And well I don't normally go for creme lipstick (like at all in the last two years), when I learned she came out with a collection with ColourPop I wanted it.…
View PostIs Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Vol. 1 Worth the Hype?

It's been a while since I've done a full blown review so excuse me if this is a little messy. But I really want to review this palette as I think it's so stunning, and something I am honestly shocked not to see before. Tati Beauty is a new brand started by Tati Westbrook (GlamLifeGuru) that is both vegan cruelty free. The first palette they have launched, which sold out right away as well as the pre-order is called Textured Neutrals Volume 1. I managed to get it during the pre-order which was a mini restock of the palette, and I have to ask is it worth the hype? I have not seen a single bad review of this palette, so my expectations of the palette going in were pretty high to say the least.…
View PostAre You the One I’ve Been Looking for? Overview of the ColourPop x Disney Frozen II Anna and Elsa Shadow Palettes

ColourPop and Disney collaborated yet again for a Frozen II Collection, which included two 9-pan palettes named after each of the sisters: Anna and Elsa. Each palette costs $15, includes a mirror and comes in a cardboard packaging. I love Disney, and recently saw Frozen II (see The Pop Culture Download #18 for my thoughts on the movie). I've been listening to several of the songs on repeat since seeing the movie. So, even though I swore I wasn't going to buy anymore palettes... I couldn't stop myself. I had to get these.…
View PostFirst Impression of Satisfactory… This Game is Addicting

A new game has recently been making it's way into the gaming community that's currently in early access. It's called Satisfactory by the makers of Goat Simulator. You play as an employee of FicSit, a company looking to industrialize alien planets either by yourself or with a group of friends. The game drops you off and gives you some guidance on how to proceed with gathering and manufacturing resources through milestones located in the HUB. …
View PostColourPop Sweet Talk Pressed Powder Shadow Palette Review

ColourPop in their ever pursuit to release a palette almost every week, any me having no free will, has came out with the Sweet Talk palette which includes four different formulas including pressed glitter, super shock shadow, matte pressed powder, and metallic pressed powder. These are the perfect shadows for soft, romantic yet spring every day looks. Unlike most ColourPop palettes that are $16, this palette which does not include a mirror costs $18. The only reason I can think this is $2 more is the fact it includes a new glitter formula (though I swear that formula was also in Through My Eyes palette) and a super shock shadow that doesn't dry out. Which again I'm very curious if that's true considering the rest of those did.…
View PostSubnautica: Below Zero Overview & First Impression

The follow up game to Subnautica takes place after the events of the first game. It's currently in early access and the game/story is still a work in progress. So there are quite a few bugs, issues, and missing features. But you can still get a good feel for the game and I've played through what is considered stable by the developers. So I thought I would just share a brief overview of the game as well as my first impressions on it.…
View PostCoverGirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation Review & Wear Test

This year I'm on a extremely low buy only getting new things when I have to. And while I have a lot of different foundation formulas, I finished off three of my foundations off. So as a replacement I decided to go with one RawBeautyKristi recommended from CoverGirl. That being the Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation, which I have never tried since previously they were not cruelty free. But they are now so I wanted to give this one a go.…
