First Impression on Melt Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palettes

A brand I've been curious about for ages is Melt Cosmetics. I never ended up trying them as their palettes are $58 for 5 shades in their magnetic stack palettes or 10 in their rectangular packaging. Not to mention it was always sold out. Now I do have some expensive palettes like from Anastasia Beverly Hills ($60 for Norvina Pro Palette, 25 shades) or Jeffree Star Cosmetics ($58 for Jawbreaker Palette, 24 shades). So, around the same price but double the number of shades. But for my birthday since I can't go out this year, I decided to treat myself and got three of Melt Cosmetics Palettes: Gemini, Rust, and Twenty Seven. The last also just happens to be what age I am turning on the 15th.…
View PostReview of the Ace Beaute Oceanic Palette

A brand I've been following on Instagram for a while, and really wanted to try out was Ace Beaute. And when I recently got promoted at work, I decided to treat myself by getting a few of their palettes one of which was the Oceanic Palette. Which is filled with blue and green shadows, if you look at my Instagram you would know when I'm not doing creative looks I have one something in this color family. Not always but a good majority of the time on the weekends. So, I had to start off my adventure with this palette in particular.…
View PostWhich Tinted Moisturizer is Better? Florence by Mills Like a Light Skin Tint or ColourPop Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer

Fall has arrived along with the freezing cold temperatures and already the first snowfall, so my skin is dry as hell. And instead of wearing a full coverage foundation, I've surprisingly been wanting less coverage. But still something to even out the skin and provide some moisture. So, I've been trying to get into tinted moisturizers. Specifically I've been trying out the Florence by Mills Like a Light Skin Tint and ColourPop Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer. Since these aren't really foundations, I'm not going to put them in my foundation comparison/ranking post. And will just be doing the one comparison between the two.…
View PostJuvia’s Place The Douce Palette Review & Swatches

The next palette by Juvia's Place that I had to try was The Douce Eyeshadow Palette. Every shade is named after some type of dessert, and I have a donuts hoodie along with the Clarice wig from Bellami x Glam & Gore so all weekend long I was wearing the two together. 'Cause who only wears a hoodie once before washing it? Anyways I thought it all went together super well and I felt like a pastel goddess.…
View PostAnastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette Review & Swatches

Last holiday season Anastasia Beverly Hills released the Prism palette. Which includes a variety of neutrals, prismatic metallics, and bold pops of color. The packaging on this palette is a little more luxe compared to the other palettes (maybe not Sultry which is pure glitter). But still it's not minimalist instead it's a velvet black with a geometric prism on the cover. So it's a little more interesting than just the minimal palette name.…
View PostMakeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation Review | Is it a Dupe for Tarte Shape Tape Foundation?

Makeup Revolution (a company well known for creating dupe products of higher end brands) came out with a foundation called the Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation. And instantly I thought of the Tarte Shape Tape Matte Foundation. Mainly due to the fact that the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Contour is a dupe of the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. When this launched, I saw a lot of YouTubers try it out but no one was comparing it to the Tarte Shape Tape Foundation. And now I know a lot of people won't talk about that foundation anymore due to that shade range. So if the Makeup Revolution foundation is a dupe I wanted to know. And since I have the Tarte Shape Tape Foundation (but don't mention it on the blog or social media due to that shade range), I wanted to put them as a test against each other.…
View PostColourPop Ooh La La! Palette Review & Swatches

Inspired by the movie Mean Girls and released on October 3rd (Mean Girls' Day) which just happened to be pink. This is their second 9-pan palette that includes a mirror and the shade names written underneath the shadows. And this palette will help you look really pretty! With a mixture of matte, metallic, and satin formula shadows.…
View PostColourPop x Kathleen Lights Zodiac Palette & Supernova Shadows Review

This collection is the third collab between ColourPop and Kathleen Lights. And included a palette, two supernova shadows, two super shock highlighters, and two lux lipsticks. I have enough highlighters nor a major fan of cream lipsticks, so I decided to skip out on these from the Zodiac collection and…
