Turned Myself into Lara Croft from Tomb Raider

I've been playing the Tomb Raider series (2013 ones) over on Twitch, so I felt it was only right that I turn myself into Lara Croft using body paint and makeup. I swear Lara should not be alive at the end of these games. It's becoming a point I keep pointing out all the medical injuries as I play these games. Don't get me wrong, I'm having a blast playing them but still, Lara should not be alive. So, I wanted to reflect that in this body paint but including her injuries and the ripped-up tank top she's rocking by the end of the game.…
View PostHogwarts Legacy: How to Solve the Merlin Trials

One of the things you'll come across regularly in Hogwarts Legacy is the Merlin Trials. There are a total of 95 trials spread throughout the world, but you do not need to complete all of them to complete the challenge. Though if you want the achievement, then you will need to complete every single Merlin Trial. Each trial requires placing Mallowsweet on the altar, then completing the specific puzzle around you. So, I figured I would go over how to solve each of them. However, I will not be going into where to find all of them as they are easy to spot on your map.…
View PostWizarding World Brought to Life (aka My Review of Hogwarts Legacy)

I'm not going to be going into the author of this universe, nor is this review in any way based on their views regarding transgender individuals. I got and played this game because Harry Potter was my childhood. It was a massive part of growing up, and while I didn't read the books until the end of high school that does not change the impact this world had on my childhood. I loved the movies and one of the few PC games that my sister and I had that weren't educational was the original Harry Potter game on the PC, where we had to collect jelly beans. I remember getting so frustrated at points during that game. And I always wanted to see Hogwarts brought to life in a way where I could be the main character. That I was in my house, and I got to do the exploring. Which is exactly what we get in Hogwarts Legacy.…
View PostVideo Games I Have Spent the Most Time Playing

I saw this idea from Angelika Oles and thought it would be a fun idea. Most of the games featured on this list are my all-time favorite games. By no means is this every game I've ever played or the true total amount. As I've switched computers several times over the years, and the Nintendo Switch gives a rough estimate with only 20 games displayed. One of the games on this list wasn't displayed but I based the time on how long the game takes on average. If I had the stats for how much time I played The Sims 2 and 3 those would be on here too, but sadly I don't know the answer to that as I played on my dad's laptop and a computer I left behind years ago. Plus, those were played on physical disks so I don't have those stats. I also grouped games of a series together as I feel that gives a more accurate portrayal of the time I spent in those worlds.…
View PostLooking Back at December 2022

Last month of the year. Where has the time gone? This year has had some of my lowest moments (losing my job) to feeling like a weight has been lifted off my shoulder for the first time in almost five years (getting a new job). Not only that, but I got the majority of my teeth fixed, and I still have some more work to be done of course. But I no longer hate the thought of smiling and having people see my teeth. My habits regarding my teeth are better than they were before, and I intend to make that a priority in 2023 so this never happens again. Because I realize when it came to my health, I was doing the wrong thing. I was letting work dictate when or if I could go see doctors, dentists, etc. As I felt like I could never take time off to do so, but not anymore. So, here's to the next year and making myself a priority. But before the new year can kick off, I wanted to look back at everything that happened in December 2022. From what I read, what I did on stream, what happened in my personal life, and what I did as far as body painting.…
View PostLooking Back at the Games I Played in 2022

I played a lot of games in the last year. Typically, I don't do a wrap-up type post in regard to the games I played. But I figured why not this year. I'm not really going to go into my thoughts on every game as most of them have a review on my blog. I'll link those where appropriate. I also included a highlight reel from my twitch streams, since a majority of the games were featured in this video (as well as some body painting but the majority are on the games). So, what all did I play?…
View PostMy Ranking of the Pokémon Games

I've spent the vast majority of my life as a Pokemon fan. Is that to say I'm the best at the games? No. Does that mean I know every type matching off the top of my head? No. Does this mean I know every Pokemon and their basic stats? No. But that doesn't diminish how much time I've spent enjoying the games in this franchise. But, before I get into ranking the Pokemon games, I'd like to state that I have not played all of them. So, this will only be my ranking of the ones I've played in my lifetime. I'm going to divide my rankings into four categories: story, difficulty, replay value, and post-game.…
View PostPokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Great Crater

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet ends when you go into the Great Crater after the professor with Penny, Arven, and Nemona. Immediately, you get the sense that something is off. Koraidon or Miraidon will retreat and refuse to come out of their Pokéball the second you get into the crater. I won't go into spoilers of what happens plotwise, but I will be sharing how to get through the boss fight. Which happens after you go through the Great Crater and visit four research stations.…
