The Cutest Cat Game: Stray

I had so much fun playing Stray from BlueTwelve Studio. So, I thought I would share a few thoughts I had in regards to this latest Indie video game published by Annapuma Interactive. Stray is an adventure, platform, and puzzle game where you play as an adorable little cat. The cat originally was on the surface with his friends but fell underground into a sealed city where the former residents (humans) have died and been replaced by robots that are being killed by a parasite creature called the Zurk. You team up with a drone named B-12 to find a way back to the surface.…

I've officially been at my new job for a full month and have spent the entire time training. It's been interesting, as it's felt like I've been at school for a month instead of actually working. There have been homework assignments, presentations, and demonstrations of knowledge. I'll be curious to see what happens once I get into actually working tasks/issues. But so far it's been non-stop learning. I finished off the month by giving a demonstration of what I had learned thus far and will have several more of these next month. I think it went pretty well, and I found it interesting how to go into the presentation, as it was different from how I gave trainings in the past.…
View PostBugsnax: The Game Where You Are What You Eat

Bugsnax is a game where you play as a journalist who's trying to discover the mysteries of an unusual island, called Snaktooth Island, after being invited by Elizabert Megafig. However, when you arrive she has gone missing and the individuals that she went to the island with have all left to do their own thing due to infighting and a lack of food. So, it's your job to gather the folks back to camp, discover what happened to Elizabert, and what the deal behind these mysterious bugsnaxs is.…
View PostRanking the Side Questlines in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I have been playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim over on Twitch for the last month or so. Typically in the past when I played this game, I never played past Act I before restarting the game. So, this is the first time I've really ever explored outside of that. And man have I explored outside that. I've done practically every side questline (the only ones I haven't fully done are the ones without stories or connected quests), became a Thane everywhere I could, and bought a house everywhere I could (one of them I still need to finish building). So, I thought it would be a fun idea now that I've done all the story side quests that I would rank them from "it was alright" to "this was my favorite thing to do".…

Finally! I'm back to working full-time after three months of being out of a job. I was seriously feeling the effects of that. My mind was shattered almost constantly (like I struggled to think or concentrate on one thing at a time), and I was struggling mentally with how to cope. The one thing I had to look forward to in the last month was that I was starting a new job. What I find a little funny, the last two jobs I interviewed for and started with both had start dates very close to my birthday. I'm going to be in what they call "training" for the next six months, but I'm excited about this next chapter.…
View PostWhich is Worse? Animal Crossing’s Tom Nook or Stardew Valley’s Mayor Lewis

I don't entirely know why I decided to write about this today. It was a thought that came into my head, while I was cleaning up my island in Animal Crossing. Which Mayor or Government Official in a video game is worse between Tom Nook and Mayor Lewis? One of them gets a very bad reputation while the other is hit or miss on people's opinions. So, I thought I would compare the two and then come up with a conclusion to this question.…
View PostPokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl: Guide for Defeating the Gym Leaders & Elite Four

I recently got Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, so I thought I would do a little guide on the gyms that you have to go through during the course of the game. There is no difference between the games and the gym leaders. They are similar to the classic Diamond and Pearl games, so you go through the gyms to face the trainers before reaching the leader. There is no challenge or mission, or special feature of the gym like there was in Pokemon Sword/Shield.…
View PostHaving Fun in Minecraft

I'm not great in Minecraft by any means. But I try. Usually, I end up building in creative mode. However, I got invited to play in a survival realm so I'm been trying my hardest to do everything the normal way. Which has resulted in many deaths, and some of my friends giving me enchanted armor and potions to help me avoid dying as often. But other than that, everything else I'm made for myself. Well... not the village I took over but the main buildings that I use were of my own creation. One reflects the village around me and the other is my storage which resembles a nether fortress in some regard.…
