I recently saw It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, which starred Tom Hanks as Mister Rogers. I grew up watching Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood on PBS, I even had a red sweater and my own Land of Make-Believe. So, instead of doing my thoughts on the movie, I thought I would share a few things we learned from Mister Rogers.
Freshman year of college is fun and exciting. You’re finally away from home and completely on your own. It might seem like a scary thought at first to some while thrilling to others. I was a mixture of both when I went away for college. I went several states away where I didn’t actually have cell service my entire time being there but I loved it as I was on my own having the adventure I always wanted. Sure there are some things that I would’ve changed if I were to do it all over again, but I regret none of it. So here are a few things I do wish I had known going into college.
There’s no denying that we’ve learned things from different places in our lives including video games. You can take life lessons from wherever and why not video games? You spend so much time devoting yourself to getting through the game that you just take away little lessons from them over time. So these are some of those things that I’ve learned from playing video games.
I have not done a life lately since February, let me know if you guys would like these on a monthly basis. I like writing these as they’re one of the ways I can look back and reflect on everything that’s happened. Last time I did one of these I had a lot going on in my life. This month has had several key items but nowhere as many as February. Just as I did for the month of February I will break everything into area of my life though they are all really combined. But I think it makes more organizational sense this way.
Hello everyone, Since I’m 22, I thought I would reflect upon things I’ve learned in the course of my life. But first a quote that I just loved, but I modified it slightly to reflect my own age. “I’m on level 22, that’s what I like to say because I beat the underwater level and the pyramid level. Like went through all the tunnels. I’m just getting better and better at life… if you don’t…
