3 Looks 1 Palette – Kaleidos Makeup Futurism V: Electro-Turquoise Palette

Continuing on with the neon color, we’re going with the teal and orange end of things with the Kaleidos Makeup summer limited edition Futurism V: Electro-Turquoise palette. Like the other palette from this collection, I am going to do a 3 Looks 1 Palette style review of the palette. This palette like their previous ones contains 6 shades, with four mattes, a duo-chrome, and a metallic for $24.

3 Looks 1 Palette: NYX Machinist Collection – Grind Palette

Instead of getting new palettes and my constant desire to do some sort of series, I’m going to be doing an ongoing 3-looks-1-palette or collection series. Where I don’t necessarily review a palette or share any deep thoughts about it since all of these I’ve reviewed for the most part on my blog at some point. If I did I’ll link the review post at the end of each post if you want to see my overall thoughts on a palette, as my opinion hasn’t really changed on the formula since I put those reviews up. Now some of the palettes will be limited edition ones as I’m just going to cycle through my collection. If the palette is still available, I will make a note on each post as well in this series.

Disney x ColourPop It’s a Princess Thing Pressed Powder Palette Review & Swatches

ColourPop’s latest collaboration is with Disney for a designer collection inspired by the princesses. It included three glosses, six lipsticks, two super shock highlighters, six super stock shadows, and an eyeshadow palette. This collection is limited edition. And though I love the look of the other products, I wouldn’t use them so I only got the eyeshadow palette which includes 15 soft romantic, neutral shades for $20 each with 0.035 oz of product.

Tarte Magic Star Collection’s Set

Tarte is one of those brands where I love almost everything that they come out with. Last year I got their holiday collection which was very similar to this. But this month the Ulta Collector set has a much more unique design. The Sephora Collector set is a lot like last years, which is why I opted for the Ulta set. This gift set is shaped in a star that unfolds to reveal 25 eyeshadows, two blushes, a matte bronzer, a highlighter, mascara, eyeliner, a matte lip paint, and a gloss lip paint. The other set that I did not get has very similar products but opens like a book rather than a star. And is bulkier, so this one is easier to bring along and have a full-face kit on the go. Which is perfect if you are just starting a collection or want to try a bunch of their products as it includes basically everything you need minus a primer and foundation.

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Swatches & Review

So one brand I really have been wanting to try the lipstick of is Urban Decay. Now their Vice collection has 100 shades, but there is no way at this point in my life I can afford to buy all 100 shades at $17 a bullet. But for the holiday season, they did release a stock pile of 30 shades for $325. Which makes each bullet around $10. And that’s a lot more do-able in a quick one time purchase. Though I’m positive I’ll probably work my way until I have all 100 shades. As I LOVE lipstick. And yes that might be a bit much for some people, but I honestly would aim to wearing a different shade every day. Including the black, white, and blue. But those were not included in the stockpile.
