Deershroom Inspired Makeup Look

Hope you had a great week. My past week has been all over the place. I started reading Lightbringer again, then got distracted and started reading A Court of Mist and Fury. So, didn’t really have something that I wanted to chat about on the blog. But I thought I would share my makeup look for today (Caturday) on the blog. If you don’t know what Caturday is. It’s a Twitch Community Day I’m doing with some fellow streamers: Foxtail, Cassii, and Louise also known as Bunny. This week’s stream was Forest Creatures. So, I decided to become a Deershroom (a cross between a deer and mushroom as I couldn’t decide between the two).

Watercolor Inspired Makeup Look

I was in the mood to be creative and I came across a look by Charlotte Roberts that was this watercolor inspired look. So I had to do my own take on it, I know she was inspired by another artist however I was unable to find the original painting as it appears their account was deleted otherwise I would totally link you to that painting as well.v

Today I’m just sharing a few looks I’ve created using the palette. I am not including the look I included in the review so if you want a fourth, there’s one in the full review. Now onto the looks!

Do You Wanna Build a Snowman? | Snowman Inspired Makeup Look

Continuing on with my seasonal creative makeup looks, I did this snowman look inspired by @vocallyshook. To be honest I have not built a snowman in many years… I think the last one I made was in college and then for a class assignment we had to do something against social norms, which promptly lead to me making at least part of the snowman in my bikini. It was extremely cold, and I regretted it immediately. But hey it led to an interesting memory and photo (not that I’m showing it on here).

You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch, Ornament Look Inspired by Peachcait

One of my favorite Christmas movies of all time is How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey. I could honestly quote that movie all season long and even after that. So, when I saw Peachcait over on Instagram created a look inspired by the movie in an ornament, I knew I had to do my own version of it. While hers is half of her face, I kept mine as added detail to the look. Mainly as I can’t wear colored contacts and I wanted to do something I little bit different. Check out her original version of the look as it is incredible!

Pantone Color of the Year (2020): Classic Blue Inspired Eyeshadow Look

Pantone has announced the Color of the Year 2020, it’s Classic Blue (19-4052) and I thought it would be fun to do this again. Last year, I did it when the Color of the Year (2019) was Living Coral. So I thought I would do something similar again, though this time instead of a creative makeup look based off the color, I’m just going to use it as the base for my regular eyeshadow look.
