I Turned Myself into the Queen of Hearts

I let my Discord decided what makeup look I would do, and Queen of Hearts ended up winning. So, I decided to pull inspiration from a few different places for this look. Those being: Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and the playing card for the Queen of Hearts. I think you’ll find subtle nods to each version in the look. From the color palette to the lips to the roses painted red to the drawn appearance of the card. I really like how the look turned out… and of course, it gave me an excuse to put on a crown and my favorite blood-red wig.

Marvel’s Scarlet Witch Body Paint

I’ve been really enjoying doing body painting lately or at least doing it once a week. That way I don’t get burnt out. This week I turned myself into Marvel’s Scarlet Witch from Wandavision. I love Wanda, she’s one of my favorite characters in the MCU. I let my Discord decide who I turned myself into and I’m really glad they went with this character. The other choices were: Deadpool, Spiderman, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man. Plus, I haven’t seen anyone else recreate this version of Scarlet Witch in body paint. The original? Sure. But this one? Nope. Maybe I’m wrong but I didn’t see any on a quick search. I mostly was trying to get a sense of how anyone else would do the headpiece, but I couldn’t find one that didn’t use an actual headpiece, so I winged it. And I have to say I love how this look turned out.

Recreation of MadeYewLook’s Bloody Mary Makeup Look

I let Discord choose which MadeYewLook body paint tutorial I should follow/recreate over on Twitch. Bloody Mary won, so this was the final result. The only thing edited in the photos is my eyes as I don’t have pure white contacts. The rest I did using body paint and eyeshadow.

Steampunk Inspired Makeup

This month I’m not really streaming as work is kind of hectic, but my goal is even if I don’t stream I’m still going to do the weekly theme. This week’s was Steampunk (which I picked) and I LOVE how this came out. I was going to have a corset that matched for a full body look… but I got the wrong size. So instead, I still have the shoulder piece on but made the leather collar out of body paint to go with the makeup look of cogs, gears, and clock pieces.

Deershroom Inspired Makeup Look

Hope you had a great week. My past week has been all over the place. I started reading Lightbringer again, then got distracted and started reading A Court of Mist and Fury. So, didn’t really have something that I wanted to chat about on the blog. But I thought I would share my makeup look for today (Caturday) on the blog. If you don’t know what Caturday is. It’s a Twitch Community Day I’m doing with some fellow streamers: Foxtail, Cassii, and Louise also known as Bunny. This week’s stream was Forest Creatures. So, I decided to become a Deershroom (a cross between a deer and mushroom as I couldn’t decide between the two).

Mermaid Makeup Look

Here is a look I did today. Joined some other streamers (Foxtail, Cassii, and Louise also known as Bunny) over on Twitch for a community event we’re calling Caturday. Where we each dress up to a specific theme then share the hype from one stream to the next. You should totally check them out as they are A-MAE-ZING! Absolute sweethearts that I love talking to regularly.
