3 Looks 1 Palette: NYX Machinist Collection – Grind Palette

Instead of getting new palettes and my constant desire to do some sort of series, I'm going to be doing an ongoing 3-looks-1-palette or collection series. Where I don't necessarily review a palette or share any deep thoughts about it since all of these I've reviewed for the most part on my blog at some point. If I did I'll link the review post at the end of each post if you want to see my overall thoughts on a palette, as my opinion hasn't really changed on the formula since I put those reviews up. Now some of the palettes will be limited edition ones as I'm just going to cycle through my collection. If the palette is still available, I will make a note on each post as well in this series.…
View Post3 Looks 1 Collection: ColourPop x Zoella Brunch Date

Typically when I do a 3 looks 1 palette, but today I'm just going to be using a single collection for each of these looks. Now I don't have the blush or highlighter from this collection so I will be using other products for those two areas. But the rest I do have including ColourPop x Zoella Creme Gel Liner, Brunch Date Palette, Ultra Matte Lips, and Supernova shadows.…
View Post3-Looks-1 Palette: NYX Phoenix Ultimate Shadow Palette & ColourPop BFF Liquid Eyeliners

I haven't done a 3 looks 1 palette on my blog in a while that didn't also include a review. And with my new mulled wine or merlot colored hair I was feeling fire-y so I decided let's do another one of these posts using the NYX Phoenix Ultimate Shadow Palette. Plus I just got the ColourPop BFF Liquid Eyeliners so a bunch of these looks have graphic liner in them for a bit of something different and fun. I'm not doing a review on either of these products just showing up some fun looks using them, but if you would like a dedicated review on either of these products let me know and I'll make it happen.…
View PostYear of the Pig Inspired Makeup Using Bretman Rock x ColourPop Lit Palette

One thing I told myself this year is I would do way more creative looks. After seeing one of Jeffree Star's video where he gave Shane Dawson a bunch of Gucci x Disney Pig collection, I really wanted to do an eyeshadow look inspired by "Year of the Pig" which is from the Chinese New Years'. I'm not great at realistic animals, I swear any animal that has snorts throws me for a loop so making a realistic pig was a little difficult. But I saw a look from Glamaliee on Instagram inspired by the same subject so I did use her look as inspiration/guidance.…
View PostBird Box Inspired Makeup using Juvia’s Place The Warrior II Palette

I'll be 100% honest I have not seen Bird Box on Netflix just a few plot breakdowns. It looks pretty cool and I was inspired to do this look... since you know everyone is doing a look inspired by this movie. And honestly every version exists on Instagram involving this idea so I just wanted to do my own take of a look I saw the amazingly talented keilidhmua created over on Instagram. …
View PostSun and Moon Inspired Looks Using Juvia’s Place The Magic Palette & Quick Review

Next Juvia’s Place palette that I have in the massive pile to play with is the Magic Palette. Now I purchased mine from Ulta so it is the mini size versus the typical Juvia’s Place large pan size. This palette was inspired by the moon and sun goddesses making it…
View PostPantone Color of the Year (2019): Living Coral Inspired Makeup

For twenty or so years Pantone has been releasing a color of the year based off what they believe will become a trend. Or rather whatever they pick to be the color of the year ends up influencing product development for fashion, home furnishings, and industrial design. This year the…
