Two ColourPop Palettes that I’ve Been Wearing Lately: Lust for Dusk & So Very Lovely

I've been pretty good about not buying every new ColourPop release. Granted, my sister has still been very generous in ordering them for me as surprises lately. Not every release but a fair amount of the eyeshadow palettes. Not all of them I have used or reached for a lot. But there are two lately that have stood out mainly as they've been sitting out and I've worn them almost every day since I received them. Those palettes being the Lust for Dusk and So Very Lovely. …
View PostReview of Kaleidos Makeup Flower Punk Collection

It's been ages since I did a makeup review, but I haven't really had a reason to. I've been very good about using the makeup I have rather than getting anything new. But the Kaleidos Makeup Flower Punk collection caught my eye, so I got almost everything. Well, almost all of it. I got the lip clay sets and eyeshadow palettes. As I don't really need lip masks, temporary tattoos, and coloring book.…
View PostAuric Cosmetics Glow Lust Radiant Luminizer & Smoke Reflect Eye Shadow Duo Review

Samantha Ravndahl released a new branded called Auric. I love watching her videos over on YouTube. So far they have only released two products: Glow Lust Radiant Luminizer and Smoke Reflect Eye Shadow Duo. And I wanted to try it out as I've been into more minimal product makeup routines as of late. And these seemed like products that would be right up my alley.…
View PostReview of Madeyewlook Body Paint

I finally got contacts, which means I can do creative makeup again! I avoided it when I just had my glasses as I COULD NOT see what I was doing. The looks weren't clean or I couldn't get the details that I wanted. So, I took eight months off from doing it all together. And then basically stopped posting on here about makeup. But since I have contacts again, we're bringing it back! So, I thought I would start out with going over (reviewing) Madeyewlook's new line of body paint. She's an incredible body painter that I have been following on YouTube/Twitch for years. I've even done a video in the past that she featured attempting her Alice Madness Return's Insane Child... which is one of the looks featured in this post as I thought it was fitting and I recreated it.…
View PostReview of e.l.f. x JKissa to the Rescue Palette

The first time JKissa collaborated with e.l.f. I missed out as it was constantly out of stock whenever I tried to get it. So, this time I did not want to miss out with the To the Rescue Eyeshadow Palette. That is not the only thing that came with this collection. There was also a furever eyeshadow brush set (I love e.l.f. brushes and they make up the majority of brushes I own/use), and Tsuki To My Heart Eyeshadow Topper Duo. I'm not going to be focused on those two items from this collection in this review, but I did get both in addition to the palette.…
View PostFirst Impression on Melt Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palettes

A brand I've been curious about for ages is Melt Cosmetics. I never ended up trying them as their palettes are $58 for 5 shades in their magnetic stack palettes or 10 in their rectangular packaging. Not to mention it was always sold out. Now I do have some expensive palettes like from Anastasia Beverly Hills ($60 for Norvina Pro Palette, 25 shades) or Jeffree Star Cosmetics ($58 for Jawbreaker Palette, 24 shades). So, around the same price but double the number of shades. But for my birthday since I can't go out this year, I decided to treat myself and got three of Melt Cosmetics Palettes: Gemini, Rust, and Twenty Seven. The last also just happens to be what age I am turning on the 15th.…
View PostLooking Back at the Last 4 Years of Makeup

This is something that I saw Sarah McGonagall post on Twitter the other day, of looking at artistic growth over the last four years (2017-2020). And it got me looking back at my photos that I've saved over the years of makeup looks that I've done. Plus, considering I haven't been doing any makeup since I ran out of contacts during quarantine I thought this would be a fun idea.…
View PostDid Morphe Change the Formula on the Original Jaclyn Hill Palette?

One of the best palettes that I think Morphe ever came out with was the original Jaclyn Hill palette back in 2017. I still love that palette and use it regularly, but I noticed while I was curious on their website (was looking at the new palette, debating on getting it) that something changed. For starters, it's no longer listed under the vegan section of their website. So, I went back to my original review where I had the ingredients list and decided to do a comparison as I used to include that list in every review back in the day.…
