Alright time to share some of the looks I created using the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker palette which is the larger of the two palettes released in the Summer 2019 collection. I tried to incorporate as many shades as possible in each of these looks to get the most out of the palette when I was trying it out.
I don't go for every release from Jeffree Star Cosmetics as a lot of launches are just things I would not go for or need, but this one just drew me in though I did not get every single product that came in the collection. For a few reasons: 1) I don't need that much makeup, 2) I would never use 75% of it, and 3) my bank account would kill me. But I did end up going with the Jawbreaker palette, Mini Breaker palette, and the Velour Liquid Lipsticks in Fully Nude and Strawberry Crush.
Something I've been wearing every day for the last week is Dominique Cosmetics Rustic Glam palette, I was going to do a week in makeup using this palette then my skin and eye were driving me crazy… so instead I'm just going to do an old fashion review rather than the looks I created using this palette. The Rustic Glam palette is the newest eyeshadow palette released by Dominique Cosmetics that retails for $44USD and contains twelve shades.
Sometimes you just have to get yourself something nice, and sometimes you get something to celebrate. This was a little bit of a mixture of both. I managed to get approved for an apartment I've been wanting to move into for the last year since the lease at the old place was finally over. But I had no funds to move back then as I was beyond broke, I couldn't move then. So, I worked my butt off to make sure it would happen this year. And I get to move in the start of July. Which I cannot wait for. To celebrate I got myself the Anastasia Beverly Hills Alyssa Edwards palette, I'll do a review of it later when I've played with it some more in my ranking the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette post.
Something I love to do when I'm doing my eyeshadow on a glam day, even if I don't take photos in general or for Instagram, is to add one of the ColourPop Supernova Shadows for a bit of a highlight or glitter moment. Almost all of the ones in my collection are no longer available on ColourPop's website anymore. I'm not sure if their just stopping production on their liquid shadows in general or just keeping the ones that sell the most. But I love using these. Though I never wear them alone. Typically I'll put a metallic shadow over top so it really pops and stays all day long. As long as you don't touch it or rub your eyes they last all day long looking the same as you first applied them. Each one typically costs $7.50 for 4.7g (0.17oz) of product.
I haven't really been in a makeup mood for the last month. Mainly due to a lot going on with work and poor mental health. But I'm back in the mood to play with makeup so I thought I would do a tutorial today on the following look that I did using the UOMA Beauty Allure Black Magic Palette.
I haven't really been living in makeup lately. I did two of the looks ages ago when I initially got the Black Magic Palettes from UOMA beauty but held off on sharing as I just wanted a break from like everything. So I don't exactly remember how I created these looks nor what other products I am wearing alongside the Poise Black Magic Palette. But since I still took the time to do photos of each of the looks, I'm still going to share them.
Going through the newest palettes in my collections the next up is the UOMA Beauty Allure Black Magic Color Palette, which is the second palette I have used from this new brand in Ulta. I am not doing a review of the palette in this post, if you would like to see one just let me know. Instead I'm just going to share three of the looks I created using this palette.
A new brand has arrived at Ulta that's cruelty free and I seriously wanted to give it a chance as their palettes looked gorgeous. I will be doing the other palettes over the next couple of days. The Savage Black Magic Color Palette has a lot of rich red and blue tones. It has a mixture of matte, glitter, and metallic formulas which are all just stunning. If you would like a more in depth review on these palettes let me know and I'll make it happen. Anyways, onto the three looks I created using this palette.
Recently ColourPop repackaged all of their pencil and pot eyeliners to have the outer packaging match the color inside all of the way through instead of just the tip. Considering I use these all of the time I thought I would do a review of the formulas as I don't think I've done one on any of the formulas here on the blog. I prefer each of the different types of formulas for different reasons.
