Is Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien Palette Worth the Hype?

ree Star Cosmetics while I do not agree with everything Jeffree Star does his packaging and products are pretty memorable. For my birthday, my sister got me the Alien Palette which contains 18 shadows inside of an alien head shaped packaging complete with faux leather and 3D eyes. It includes both metallic and matte formulas for a total of $52. Now being 100% honest, I'm probably going to either take out the 3D eyes or depot the entire palette into an empty one so it's easier to store in my eyeshadow collection. Similar to what I have done with the Blood Sugar palette. So, today I'm asking if this palette is worth the hype as it has sold out several times since it was initially released.…
View Post3 Looks 1 Palette: Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien Palette

My sister got me this palette for my 26th birthday, which is coming up in a matter of a few weeks. So I wanted to play around with it since I got one of my presents early. Mainly as my sister couldn't keep it a secret and handed it to me immediately when it arrived in the mail. I'll have a review of the palette up later as I'm still playing around with it, but I thought I would share three looks that I've made so far using the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien Palette.…
View Post3 Looks 1 Palette: Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette

One of my favorite go-to palettes when I'm getting ready in the morning for work is Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam palette. It has a mixture of neutrals and rust tones, which are among my favorite colors from makeup to fashion. So next up in my revisiting my collection to create three looks using a single palette, I went with this staple one.…
View Post3 Looks 1 Palette: Pigment Palace Modern Royalty Palette

Next up in my revisiting all of my palettes is the Pigment Palace Modern Royalty Palette. Now I was feeling creative so I wouldn't say these three looks by any means are wearable and I used a variety of other products with this palette to create these looks since they are more creative. But ultimately I did primarily try to use the Pigment Palace Modern Royalty palette for each of these three looks.…
View Post3 Looks 1 Palette: Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette

Continuing on with revisiting my entire collection, I'm going over to my high end bin to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism palette. Which was the limited edition Holiday 2017 palette but it is still listed on ABH's website but as of writing this is out of stock, they might restock it since the listing is still there. If you want to see my review of the palette, check it out here since I'm not going to be sharing thoughts in this post.…
View Post3 Looks 1 Palette: NYX Machinist Collection – Grind Palette

Instead of getting new palettes and my constant desire to do some sort of series, I'm going to be doing an ongoing 3-looks-1-palette or collection series. Where I don't necessarily review a palette or share any deep thoughts about it since all of these I've reviewed for the most part on my blog at some point. If I did I'll link the review post at the end of each post if you want to see my overall thoughts on a palette, as my opinion hasn't really changed on the formula since I put those reviews up. Now some of the palettes will be limited edition ones as I'm just going to cycle through my collection. If the palette is still available, I will make a note on each post as well in this series.…
View PostCan We Dupe it? Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty Palette

This is probably going to be my most "off" Can We Dupe It posts, but I still find this a lot of fun to do as I compare my palettes to my individual shadows as a means to declutter. So today I'm comparing some of my shadows with the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty Palette. I still have five full large eyeshadow palettes of individual shadows but a smaller palette has been completely emptied out so using this series I've managed to declutter 12 shades that I had duplicates of elsewhere in my eyeshadow collection.…
View Post3 Looks 1 Collection: ColourPop x Zoella Brunch Date

Typically when I do a 3 looks 1 palette, but today I'm just going to be using a single collection for each of these looks. Now I don't have the blush or highlighter from this collection so I will be using other products for those two areas. But the rest I do have including ColourPop x Zoella Creme Gel Liner, Brunch Date Palette, Ultra Matte Lips, and Supernova shadows.…
