Recently, I did a body paint inspired by Inside Out. I couldn’t decide which character I wanted to do, so I did them all along with circle bubbles for memories. This was done during a live stream over on Twitch. I figured I would do a lookbook of this since I love how it turned out and it’s been a hot minute since I did one of these types of posts. I might do more of them in the future for each of my looks since I do these typically every Saturday.
t’s been two years since Animal Crossing: New Horizons came out. And the 3rd Bunny Day since it was released. So, I thought I would do another take on the event by body painting. The first one I ever did was Zipper with eggs on my face, and this year I decided to do both on my chest instead. I love both looks, but especially love this year since it shows improvement.
We all have things we’re allergic to. Some people are allergic to specific foods or can’t handle certain things (nuts, gluten, lactose, etc.) and then there are those that are allergic to other things (pollen, dust, animals, etc.). I fall into the last group. I’m allergic to bees. Not to a deadly degree, but if I do get stung by them or wasps or get any other kind of bug bite my skin balloons ridiculously. Add on the fact I’m allergic to the medicine commonly given to deal with that swelling, it’s a fun combination. Since Spring is returning, that means bees are going to be coming back. So, I thought it would be fun to body paint them this week.
Continuing on with my seasonal creative makeup looks, I did this snowman look inspired by @vocallyshook. To be honest I have not built a snowman in many years… I think the last one I made was in college and then for a class assignment we had to do something against social norms, which promptly lead to me making at least part of the snowman in my bikini. It was extremely cold, and I regretted it immediately. But hey it led to an interesting memory and photo (not that I’m showing it on here).
Next up in my classic Horror Movie series makeup looks is Chucky from Child’s Play. This movie follows a 13-year-old boy who gets a toy doll called Buddi for his birthday. However this Buddi doll takes on a life of its own, and names itself Chucky. Let’s just say if you think killer doll, Chucky is generally the first one that anyone thinks of. So, I just had to attempt to recreate this iconic character as part of this series.
