Comparing The Mortal Instruments: City of Fallen Angels to Shadowhunters
I swear I've been restraining myself from posting these back to back, but considering I got through each of the books in around a day I've really drawn out posting these. Anyways, I've finished the fourth installment of The Mortal Instruments called City of Fallen Angels and as I have decided to do with this entire series I'm going to compare it to the show. Now the first three books made up the first two seasons, with the second and third more or less creating the second. Considering there is only one season left and three books I went into this knowing a lot was going to be different. My mother is now calling my obsessed as I've stopped playing video games or watching movies/YouTube videos when I get home from work to bury myself into this series. I think I finally found a book series that is holding my attention like no one's business. And since I've now finished the third book we are half way through the series. So I'm going to be comparing The Mortal Instruments: City of Glass to the Freeform TV Show called Shadowhunters. After the first two books it's very apparent how things are not following the same order, so I have no doubt certain points are going to be jumping from the beginning of season two to the end. And some points are incredibly different but aren't plot points of the books so those will be in the Minor Details and Differences Section like in my previous posts.…

In the last month or so, I started watching Freeform's Shadowhunters, and have finished it three times now. I have yet to get to the books mind you, so I'm going to be comparing the movie, Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, and the TV Show only. And mainly I'm going to be comparing the first season of Shadowhunters to the movie, since they cover the same amount of material since the show has continued onto the other books and now gone sort of in their own direction at this point.…
