3-Looks-1 Palette: NYX Phoenix Ultimate Shadow Palette & ColourPop BFF Liquid Eyeliners

I haven’t done a 3 looks 1 palette on my blog in a while that didn’t also include a review. And with my new mulled wine or merlot colored hair I was feeling fire-y so I decided let’s do another one of these posts using the NYX Phoenix Ultimate Shadow Palette. Plus I just got the ColourPop BFF Liquid Eyeliners so a bunch of these looks have graphic liner in them for a bit of something different and fun. I’m not doing a review on either of these products just showing up some fun looks using them, but if you would like a dedicated review on either of these products let me know and I’ll make it happen.

Zodiac Elemental Tutorial: Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

For my final look in this Zodiac Elemental series, I decided to do it live over on Twitch. Which I’ve never done a makeup tutorial live before but it was a lot of fun! And I might do more of them in the future. Maybe not all avant garde or creative looks, but definitely more streams of those. I’ve been really getting into Twitch and streamed almost every single day last week. I don’t think…

Zodiac Elemental Tutorial: Air (Aquarius, Libra, Gemini)

A while ago on Instagram the cloud eyeshadow look was everywhere and I practiced doing the look but it was no where near what I was happy with so I wanted to give it another go with the air signs for my Zodiac Element series. If you were not aware, the air signs in astrology/zodiac are Aquarius, Libra, and Gemini. They are known to be individuals who are all about action, ideas, and motion similar to changing with the winds. They love adventure and can be up in the clouds with their dreams, so I wanted to reflect that in this look.

NYX Cosmetics Sugar Trip Squad Shadow Palette Review & Swatches

NYX Cosmetics for this holiday season appears to have their entire collection focused around candy with many items starting with the name Sugar Trip (though not all). They released several eyeshadow palettes within this collection though they don’t all have the similar packaging. But when I picked up this palette from Ulta, I completely missed that there was a whole collection around this theme. While a few other items did catch my eye looking back at the collection while writing up this post (I was double checking prices to make sure I was accurate as possible like usual), I am not going to be purchasing them as I think my makeup collection is out of hand if I get anything else. I really need to go through what I have unless something comes out that’s massive unique to the rest of the collection like this Sugar Trip Squad Shadow Palette.

Steampunk Inspired Palettes from NYX Cosmetics | The Machinist Collection (Ignite, Steam, and Grind) Review & Swatches

The latest limited edition collection from NYX Cosmetics (Profession Makeup) is the Machinist collection which includes three shadow palettes each with 12 shades that are inspired by steampunk and retro-futuristic fantasy. Each palette includes a mixture of cool and warm metals with bold mattes that range from grungy romantic to vintage beauty. The three shadow palettes are called Ignite, Grind, and Steam. Each palette is $25 and has 0.45 oz of product.

NYX Rebel With A Cause Shadow Palette Review & Swatches

NYX Cosmetics recently received a ’90s nostalgia shadow palette that’s an exclusive collaboration with ASOS. This palette is supposed to be a mixture of 12 rich and velvety-soft shadows that are edgy, loud, and angsty. From matte oxblood to metallic bronze and shimmery blue-brown. I love grunge makeup and the tones that fall into this range even if I don’t wear that style all of the time.
