Photo Diary: Depotting Makeup
Over the weekend, I had the brilliant idea that I was going to depot all of my NYX Hot Single Eyeshadows and Prismatic Eyeshadows then put them all into a Z Palette that I got at Sephora. I watched about five different videos and explanations on how to best complete this task so I would 1. not destroy the shadows, and 2. not destroy my hands in the process. Let's say those two things didn't really happen. I managed to break two of my shadows though I was able to repair them using some alcohol from the pharmacy, and my hands are cut up all over the place. I also used the Z Palette to house some of the samples that I have gotten over the years from various subscription boxes that were getting lost due to being a tiny pan with only a small plastic casing. I love getting new eyeshadow palettes that are different than other ones I have in my collection. Either in finish or colors, because as much as I love wearing nude colors I also want some that have a bit of color. And this palette from NYX has a bunch of different muted colors that are perfect for a very subtle look. This palette is my go to in the morning before work to create a quick look for the day. And does have some great shades for both day and night.…
