Making My Own Dream Palette Inspired by Dragon Age

I got this idea from Aleesha on YouTube, she created her own version of a Kingdom Hearts eyeshadow palette and I wanted to do something really similar. So I did my own version of a Dragon Age palette, I used one of Dose of Colours palettes as my template as you can probably tell since I didn’t fully blur out the name in the brush. Dragon Age is one of my all time favorite video game series. I have played each game to completion around six times each and probably will do so again many times in the future. It’s just a story I don’t get bored of experiencing. As you can always do something slightly different and get different endings.

Zodiac Elemental Tutorial: Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

For my final look in this Zodiac Elemental series, I decided to do it live over on Twitch. Which I’ve never done a makeup tutorial live before but it was a lot of fun! And I might do more of them in the future. Maybe not all avant garde or creative looks, but definitely more streams of those. I’ve been really getting into Twitch and streamed almost every single day last week. I don’t think…

Zodiac Elemental Tutorial: Air (Aquarius, Libra, Gemini)

A while ago on Instagram the cloud eyeshadow look was everywhere and I practiced doing the look but it was no where near what I was happy with so I wanted to give it another go with the air signs for my Zodiac Element series. If you were not aware, the air signs in astrology/zodiac are Aquarius, Libra, and Gemini. They are known to be individuals who are all about action, ideas, and motion similar to changing with the winds. They love adventure and can be up in the clouds with their dreams, so I wanted to reflect that in this look.

Zodiac Elemental Tutorial: Earth (Virgo, Taurus, Capricorn)

Going to be honest, I almost wasn’t even going to post this on here. I filmed and re-shot an earth look for this series about six times. Each one turned out worse than the one I made before. And none of them I liked. I don’t know why, I love nature. Nature relaxes me after a long day. I love trees and flowers, but for the life of me I could not come up with a single idea for this series on the Earth Zodiac signs (Virgo, Taurus, and Capricorn). I even looked up other looks to get inspiration. But nothing. Then I saw a tweet from Sarah McGonagall (who is an amazingly talented makeup artist) that had nothing to do with this series but got me to revisit this element and try one last time instead of just settling for one of the looks.

Zodiac Elemental Tutorial: Fire (Sagittarius, Leo, Aries)

The other day I was putting away a bunch of my eyeshadow palettes that I had stacked up on my desk and got really inspired after seeing my NYX In Your Element palettes. I haven’t used them in ages for a video though I have used some of them for just regular looks within the last few months. And then it dawned on me, let’s do a two part series one half focused on elements and the other on the zodiac signs that belong to those elements. So to begin with I had to go for fire as it was the first one I could think of a look for. And this was the zodiac twist I did on the eyeshadow look that I did on Sunday.

NYX Cosmetics Sugar Trip Squad Shadow Palette Review & Swatches

NYX Cosmetics for this holiday season appears to have their entire collection focused around candy with many items starting with the name Sugar Trip (though not all). They released several eyeshadow palettes within this collection though they don’t all have the similar packaging. But when I picked up this palette from Ulta, I completely missed that there was a whole collection around this theme. While a few other items did catch my eye looking back at the collection while writing up this post (I was double checking prices to make sure I was accurate as possible like usual), I am not going to be purchasing them as I think my makeup collection is out of hand if I get anything else. I really need to go through what I have unless something comes out that’s massive unique to the rest of the collection like this Sugar Trip Squad Shadow Palette.
