My Thoughts on Kingdom of the Cursed (Kingdom of the Wicked, Book 2) by Kerri Maniscalco

My Thoughts on Kingdom of the Cursed (Kingdom of the Wicked, Book 2) by Kerri Maniscalco

shing Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco, I wanted to continue on with the series right away. The second book is called Kingdom of the Cursed. Because I had to know what was going to happen once Emilia entered hell. Was Wrath going to let her go to Pride? Or is their engagement still a thing since the tattoo has not vanished. If anything, it had grown since Emilia attempted to call it off. And I can't see Emilia ending up with Pride, her sin that she rapidly falls back on is aligned with wrath. The two are very similar to each other. So, I was curious to see what would happen between these two in the next installment.…

My Thoughts on Kingdom of the Wicked (Kingdom of the Wicked, Book 1) by Kerri Maniscalco

My Thoughts on Kingdom of the Wicked (Kingdom of the Wicked, Book 1) by Kerri Maniscalco

n I was in high school, I used to volunteer at a library shelving books that had been returned. The mass majority of the ones always ended up being James Patterson. Every section you went into there were massive sections for James Patterson. Children's, Teens, Fiction, Non-Fiction... you name it, James Patterson would have rows upon rows of books. So, when I saw this Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco was a James Patterson Presents Novel, I was curious. Not only that, but it kept coming up in my recommendations alongside Stalking Jack the Ripper by the same author. One day I'll get to that book series, but I figured I would go to Kingdom of the Wicked first since the second book was just released and I was trying to hold off until the whole series was complete. Now, I don't know if it ends after the second book but that was the book I was waiting to come out before starting this series.…

My Thoughts on The Savage and The Swan (Fated Fae, Book 1) by Ella Fields

My Thoughts on The Savage and The Swan (Fated Fae, Book 1) by Ella Fields

The Savage and The Swan by Ella Fields is loosely inspired by Hades and Persephone, Rumpelstiltskin, and The Swan Princess. There are elements of each tale woven throughout the book while telling its own unique tale of the King of Wolves, Dade, and the Swan, Opal. This is a standalone romantic fantasy novel, and the first book by Ella Fields I have ever read. I didn't know too many details before going into this book, other than seeing a mention of it on BookTok that it fell into the enemies to lovers trope.…

My Thoughts on Moon Touched (Zodiac Wolves: The Lost Pack, Book 1) by Elizabeth Briggs

My Thoughts on Moon Touched (Zodiac Wolves: The Lost Pack, Book 1) by Elizabeth Briggs

I first saw Moon Touched by Elizabeth Briggs on TikTok. Someone shared a quote from the book and I was like "ok that looks interesting" so I decided to check it out. Not really having much to go on other than that one quote. And after reading the summary on Amazon, I decided to read the book on Kindle. This is the first book in the Zodiac Wolves: The Lost Pack triology. And so far, it's the only book of the series released with the next one coming out in November. Normally, I shelve those books until the full series is released. But I couldn't resist starting this one.…

My Thoughts on Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas

My Thoughts on Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas

A few months ago, I shared that I've spent a lot of time on Discord, which is still true. The number of servers I'm on has doubled in that time, but one thing that has not changed. I'm still in a writers' Discord by Rebecca Mix called Chaos Sprinters and every month we're having a book club through there. October's book was Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas, which I didn't get around to until now.…
