August 2021 Goals

July was crazy with moving, so in August I’m hoping to relax… and by that, I mean streaming more. I really enjoy it, so I’m adding additional days to my calendar for streaming. I also built some structure around it, so each day I’m streaming has a relative theme. I’ll get into what that is when I go over the goals for the month.

June 2021 Goals

Another month already?! The year is almost halfway over, and things are starting to open back up. I’m fully vaccinated so yay! This month is going to be crazy to begin with then hopefully things returning to normal around the mid-point of the month. Hopefully, that doesn’t change. I really want things to settle down, so I can get back into a routine and have a sense of time again. Granted, towards the end of the month I’m going to start packing to move in July. But that shouldn’t disrupt too much.

May 2021 Goals

It’s my birthday month! Can’t believe I’m spending another birthday in quarantine. Maybe next year, we’ll be free again. Since we’re entering another month, I thought I would share my goals for this month and revisit the ones I made for the previous month.

My Thoughts on The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black is the first book in The Folk of the Air series. I had seen this book mentioned a lot on TikTok, and have tried my hardest to avoid any type of spoiler regarding the book including not really reading the synopsis before I began the book. So, the only details that I knew were this book was an enemy to lover trope, involved faeries, and there was a character named Cardan who has a tail. Which are all not spoilers, and I’m going to try to keep my review that way in case you are interested in the book yourself.

Magical Readathon 2020: O.W.L.s Wrap Up

It’s been a month since I posted my Magical Readathon 2020: O.W.L.s. TBR. And during that time period, I did manage to complete it! However, some of of my selections changed. Unfortunately, as I didn’t learn about this readathon until it was done, so I could not submit my reading for the official house competition. However, I did still enjoy this readathon, and it sparked my desire to read again. As I was in a bit of a reading slump before that.

The Pop Culture Download #2: Toy Story 4, Music, and More

Happy Saturday everyone! Hope everyone’s week was nice and somewhat stress free. Instead of breaking everything out into sections this week I’m just going to share everything I’ve been reading, watching, and listening to lately. Not sure what next week’s post is going to look like as that’s moving week… so I might skip that one considering I’m not sure what the story with internet is going to be quite yet. Hopefully I get it in right away. If not, I’ll have posts up the following week once everything is a little more settled.
