I have been seeing this come up on my FYP for TikTok for the last week or so. Mainly from Barnes & Noble employees. One of them goes up to their co-workers with slips of paper, and whatever is on that slip the employee has to recommend a book. So, I thought I would do the same thing. Only instead of asking co-workers, I asked those on my Discord server. I might make this a series, so leave your “tropes” or “topics” in the comments and they might get featured in the next one of these.
I’m really sick of major life events. I swear something major has happened every month for the last year if not more. This month started with losing my job. The first job I’ve ever been fired from and I can’t believe the explanation I was given. I have my own conspiracy on what happened, but ultimately it doesn’t matter. I don’t have a job anymore. I gave them almost a decade of my life, and now that chapter is over. I’m trying to look on the bright side, which is really hard because I’m not an optimist.
It’s been two years since the previous Crescent City book was released by Sarah J. Maas. I will be avoiding sharing spoilers for the most part while discussing this book as there are mystery-solving elements to this book. Though unlike the first book in the series, the mystery was not the main focus. This one is more focused on the power-dynamic within Crescent City and going against the Asteri. Still, I’ll be avoiding them for the most part in this review.
I don’t know why, but instead of writing about a book I’ve just read I thought I would share thoughts and theories on A Court of Silver Flames which is the fourth (next) book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas. It doesn’t come out until March, but I felt like sharing some thoughts on characters and theories on the upcoming book.
I was not tagged to do this, but I saw it on Ellie’s blog Read to Ramble, and I really wanted to do it myself. One, as I was born in the 90’s. Two, quarantine has unleashed my book addiction and has temporarily replaced my video game and makeup addicted self as you can probably tell from the change in direction of my blog lately.
