The 100: Evolution of Octavia Blake

One of my favorite characters in The CW's The 100 has to be Octavia Blake, who has gone through by far the greatest evolution during the course of the show's six seasons with the sixth just kicking off. So I thought I would go over her character arc as I find it just so interesting to see how she has changed over time.…
View PostThe Umbrella Academy: Thoughts on Season One

Netflix released a new series back in February that I just got around to watching called The Umbrella Academy, which is an adaptation of the comic book series by the same name (created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá under Dark Horse Comics) developed by Steve Blackman and Jeremy Slater. It's an interesting premise as the story revolves around seven adopted siblings each with their own powers. Netflix recently came out with The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina which is a dark version of the comics from Archie Comics. When I was growing up, I used to watch Sabrina the Teenage Witch. And I don't know why when I saw this on Netflix I didn't put the two together until I got a bit into the first episode. I kept thinking to myself, why does this seem so familiar. Then Salem got introduced and it finally clicked in my head. So I thought it would be fun to get into comparing the two adaptations of the shows. As they are both good in their own regards, but take the story of the Spellmans in very different directions.…
