Video Games I Have Spent the Most Time Playing

I saw this idea from Angelika Oles and thought it would be a fun idea. Most of the games featured on this list are my all-time favorite games. By no means is this every game I've ever played or the true total amount. As I've switched computers several times over the years, and the Nintendo Switch gives a rough estimate with only 20 games displayed. One of the games on this list wasn't displayed but I based the time on how long the game takes on average. If I had the stats for how much time I played The Sims 2 and 3 those would be on here too, but sadly I don't know the answer to that as I played on my dad's laptop and a computer I left behind years ago. Plus, those were played on physical disks so I don't have those stats. I also grouped games of a series together as I feel that gives a more accurate portrayal of the time I spent in those worlds.…
View PostLooking Back at the Games I Played in 2022

I played a lot of games in the last year. Typically, I don't do a wrap-up type post in regard to the games I played. But I figured why not this year. I'm not really going to go into my thoughts on every game as most of them have a review on my blog. I'll link those where appropriate. I also included a highlight reel from my twitch streams, since a majority of the games were featured in this video (as well as some body painting but the majority are on the games). So, what all did I play?…
View PostMy Favorite Video Games of the Past Decade (2010s)

Since the decade is coming to a close and I've played a lot of video games in the last ten years, I thought I'd go down my list of favorite games that came out in the last decade or that I heavily played during that time period. These are not in order, as I enjoy these all for different reasons.…
View PostThe Pop Culture Download #17: The Sims 4 Discover University

The major thing that I've done this week is play the latest expansion pack of The Sims 4, so I'm just going to go into the latest pack and all of it's details since I've been playing it since it was released on Friday. And I don't have anything else I really wanted to go over in this week's Pop Culture Download.…
View PostThe Pop Culture Download #11: The Sims 4 Realm of Magic

It's been a long week, so I haven't done a whole lot of playing video games or reading. One night after coming home from work there was a power outage, so I literally had nothing to do. And realized I need to get things to make those times better... like having flashlight or candles or something so I'm not in the dark with nothing to do once my laptop dies.…
View PostThe Sims 4: StrangerVille Review

The Sims 4 just released a new game pack, which is more of a mini-story mode that takes place solely in StrangerVille. This is a desert town that holds a dark secret where it's citizens are acting bizarre. Especially in regards to a secret lab located in a crater. Similar to Strange Town of The Sims 2. To help you along with the story they have an aspiration that walks you through each of the steps you need to do so you can solve the story. I used to love The Sims 3: World Adventures and trying to figure out the mysteries of the temples. …
View PostThe Sims 4: Get Famous Review

On November 16th The Sims 4 released the newest expansion pack called Get Famous which brings in the possibility to become a celebrity. Which was one of my favorite expansions in The Sims 3. Though this pack is wildly different to that one and I'm loving the changes to it. It's quite similar to the Vampire expansion pack as it has different levels that unlock over time through your sims actions, and with those levels you gain access to different perks. I wanted to play it quite a while before I released my thoughts on the latest pack. I have also updated my ranking on the packs so if you want to see where I would place this one compared to the others check out that post!…
View PostFirst Impression of The Sims 4: Get Famous

EA recently had their Sims Camp for the next Expansion Pack coming to the Sims 4, and bloggers and YouTubers alike got to experience the first gameplay of the new world and content. While I was not at Sims Camp, I did watch many of reviews and previews of the new pack and there were a few things that really stuck out to me. I'll do a more thorough review once the Expansion Pack is released on November 15th. But I wanted to get a few of my thoughts out there to begin with, noting they may change in the future when I get to play the pack for myself.…
