My Favorite Romance Tropes to Read

I used to be a fantasy-only reader, though I did enjoy it when there was a romance subplot. But within the last few years, I've been getting more into reading romance novels. The majority of which I read on my Kindle, so it's always funny seeing whatever book my Kindle wants to advertise to me when it's not fully on. Most of the time they don't immediately draw me in, but sometimes they do. I have found a few books through there. So, I thought it would be a fun idea to share which Romance Tropes I love seeing in books.…
View PostEverything I Read in 2021

It's been an entire year. I hope everyone had a good year. I thought I would wrap up the year by looking back at every single book I read in 2021. Honestly, I'm surprised by how many books I read. Not only that but I started reading new genres during the course of this year, though it still is related to fantasy/sci-fi (for the most part). We'll see if 2022 is similar in terms of how many books I read. I have a lot on my reading list still.…
View PostMid-Year Reading Wrap Up

I figured as we're halfway through the year, I would do a wrap-up of the things that I read. Especially as there were a lot of books that I managed to get through already. Another month already?! The year is almost halfway over, and things are starting to open back up. I'm fully vaccinated so yay! This month is going to be crazy to begin with then hopefully things returning to normal around the mid-point of the month. Hopefully, that doesn't change. I really want things to settle down, so I can get back into a routine and have a sense of time again. Granted, towards the end of the month I'm going to start packing to move in July. But that shouldn't disrupt too much.…
View PostReview of The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller

The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller was a book I saw time and time again show up on my recommended list from Amazon. So, I thought I would give it a go. Especially as I was intrigued by the description of it, it sounded like an enemy to lover kind of book. Though perhaps only on one side. This is one of my favorite tropes since the banter between the two main characters is usually enjoyable. Whereas, other types of romances just don't have that. And if I'm going to read a romance, I need a good plot to back it up.…
