Tandem Reading Guide of Twilight and Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer
I've mentioned it before on my blog, but I used to be obsessed with Twilight. I helped run a fan forum back in the day on Gaia Online. I wrote a series of novels (never published) that were very inspired by Twilight. And I read every post that Stephenie Meyer put up on her website about this series including Midnight Sun after it was leaked. Then I went to college, grew up a bit, and haven't returned to the series since. When Midnight Sun was finally released, I wasn't sure if I was going to get it or not. And I didn't for the longest time, but the other day while I was at Target I ended up putting it in my cart. I love Scarlett St. Clair's Persephone and Hades series, so I was curious what her first book outside of that series was going to be like. Especially when I learned it was about vampires. Plus it's an enemies-to-lovers-style romance, which is always filled with tension. Granted the enemies-to-lovers part is one-sided in this book. If you don't want spoilers since I'm going to be sharing all my thoughts on King of Battle and Blood, I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I could not put it down. There are some darker themes and romance scenes are not fade to black. Though I wouldn't say any of the darker moments are very graphic. I'm curious to see where the rest of this series is going to go. I can't remember where the next book in this series is slotted for release since Scarlett St. Clair is still working on publishing the rest of her Persephone and Hades books.…

I have loved playing vampires in the Sims ever since The Sims 2. And you can be assured I am going to make at least one sim in my Let's Play a vampire on our YouTube Channel. And I love that they are releasing this expansion pack. It would have been nice if they included some of the other supernatural creatures from The Sims 3, but I'm good with just vampires.
